felt the machine for the first time.. test rides start tomorrow, though the showroom guy allowed me to start the engine, which sounded great.

The seat of both bikes are quite high.. therefore with sarees I guess both bikes are difficult. The pillion seat on the 200NS is much more comfortable and roomy than that on the 200Duke.Originally posted by Mayurk View Posti've booked ns 200 at my uncles shop in moolakadai..

And what are your thoughts about it? I see in your avatar you own a P220 and since I plan to upgrade from my beloved P220 to a 200NS I want to know what your take on the bike is.Originally posted by payeng View PostThe seat of both bikes are quite high.. therefore with sarees I guess both bikes are difficult. I don't think duke is a good option for taking your wife out that too with a traditional dress. 200 NS is better, but i recommend to take your wife with you to the showroom so that she can decide whether 200 Ns seat is good for her or not.Originally posted by Mayurk View Posti just want to know if the rear seat of ns 200 is bigger compared to KTM duke.. and how well can a married women wearing traditional dress be seated in NS 200 compared to KTM duke, since i'm married and have to go out with my wife.. pls help me choosing BTW KTM Duke and NS 200I am loving my NS

Here is my take on the 200NS:Originally posted by leodj29 View PostAnd what are your thoughts about it? I see in your avatar you own a P220 and since I plan to upgrade from my beloved P220 to a 200NS I want to know what your take on the bike is.

>>The Pulsar 200NS is a World Class product, in every sense of the word
>>Put a Yamaha or Honda branding on the bike and it will easily pass off as one, anywhere in the world
>>Comparing the Pulsar 200NS with any other current Made in India bikes (apart from the KTM 200 Duke & Honda CBR250RCompared to the Pulsar 220:
>> In terms of top speed both the 200NS and 220F will be almost similar but the overall acceleration of the 200NS is faster.
>> The 200F feels to have more pick up due to the initial torque kick.. the torque on the 200NS is spread over the entire rev range and therefore continues to pull linearly and relentellesly to it's redline.
>> In terms of overall engine smoothness the P200NS is smoother than the CBR250R (forget the 220F)..!!
>> In terms of handling the 200NS is more stable and sharper than the CBR250R (forget the 220F)..!!
>> The 220F has better straight line stability at high speeds (130+ kmph) than the 200NS.
>> The 200NS/200 Duke and the 220F are totally different bikes in terms of its character.
