When I rode the test bike, it was lame, power output at 4/5 k wasn't good. Still the way legs wrap around the bike, the way it rides, made me book it..

When I got my own bike, it rode nothing like the test one. It achieved nice power at 5k too.

My theory is test bikes are sobered by Bajaj, they might not want unwanted people enjoying this beauty

    • I have myself rode pillion while my bro and a friend was riding, only fear is that I can see the road upfront clearly.
I'm 6 and my bro is 5.8ish... so maybe.
My girl rode pillion and she loved it. No complains.

Yes it is little sportier than Duke

I did two 300km plus ride with a pillion (double sided -male) without any issues. The pillion doesn't slide around or fall on you on hard braking. Pillion didn't complain about anything after the ride, it is important to note that the pillion is quite habitual in sitting for long distance.

It is very stable and doesn't shake at all.
riding stance more sportier than duke??? I didn't feel it... Infact i felt that the duke's footpegs are tucked behind very aggresively...the ns was a lot more comfortable... Maybe thats because of the way i sit...

The Duke has footpegs which are more rear set than that on the Pulsar 200NS.. but at the same time the handlebar on the 200 Duke is wider and one doesn't need to reach forward at all.

On the Pulsar 200NS, the handlebar is slightly narrower than the 200 Duke and there is slight (very slight) front lean towards the handlebar. The footpegs are less rear set than on the 200 Duke.

Due to the slight forward stance and slightly narrow handlebars the 200NS feels slightly sportier in its riding stance when compared to the 200 Duke.

              • Rohan if you remove all three parts than it would reduce a max of 2kgs not more than that.

heard that the tyre hugger has got some metal from inside .. is it heavy ?
i want to make the bike lighter

i think the saree guard itself would weigh more than 1kg

                    • How does NS respond in water clogged roads ?

Hi, I had a doubt regarding the behavior of 200NS in water clogged roads (because of underbelly exhaust).
Few days back i saw a video where someone tested the duke 200 - submerged in water i.e. up to the knee level. It is pretty impressive.

Under belly exhaust for KTM Duke 200 - YouTube

How does NS behave for same test ? Can someone please throw some light on this ? Thanks in advance.

MG has already replied to that in earlier post. NS passes all the test, and that too with flying colours
