In this case the most helpful one is the one engraved in the chassis as it is not modifiable while the other one which seemed to be a sticker can be easily changed.

No Problem, anything to help the potential owners. I know how heart wrenching it would be it have spent all your hard earned money on vehicle only to find that its a TD !!
I hope all the others do it too.

Well I might have exaggerated the lorry part.
I am worried about the foot pegs coz to get on the back seat (which is at a certain amount of height) an effort is required. Imagine someone fat gets on..

@sandy, thnks a lot for the VIN pictures. Now I know where to look for the VIN, when I get my hands on the beast!!
However, in Cars, its generally of 17 digits. But given here in the 2nd PIC are only 15 digits, and that too the last digit is $ which is kinda odd..
Senior guys please throw some light.

I attached the pic for that specific reason, else I could have just given the no. I will confirm about the number of digits again on sat, and I think the last digit is an asterisk not a $.

This vibe thing being mentioned by more than one gentlemen is a point to ponder and something to be thrown some light on. Guys, please get and share some clarity once and for all on this issue.

ANother small incident that happened couple of days back. One of my friend was asking if there is any new big bike (bigger than unicorns and cbzs) coming up these days and my first answer was 200ns. then another friend just said 'dont go for bajaj bikes they are not good for long run'. when will people understand that times have changed (btw, i was also not a big fan of pulsar earlier)

@shirish what will be your option between the Karizma and 200Ns as you have already owned the Karizma...
            kindly do reply
I will be eagerly waiting for your reply

And we have seen Duke owners reaction also when people talk about problems in Duke in Duke or NS thread. Also every bike requires a runin even if its a sports bike. Thats why each and every company in the world asks for strict min 1000km runin period. They are fools??
Its not about ripping NS. Its about ripping any bike. We shall have some moral values and think if it could be owned by someone or even test ridden by someone. All Duke owners and aspirants pls comment in Duke thread and not in NS thread especially @Rohan200NS.
Phew. am outta here. sorry for loitering around in this thread

Sachin I dont know more about zmr, but it looks outdated model to me. Ns has a great features more over owners here has faced only minor issues which can be easily solved. Go to Khivraj kasturba road look for all the four colors & test rides also available there.

I will suggest Ns to you. not because am a fan of pulsar I have pulsar 150 Dtsi Spoke wheel one its 8 years old still am very much comfortable with it I have rode 82000Km till date my recorded one day trip is 800 Km almost continuous driving, Ill easily get mileage of 50-55 in constant speed, less maintenance parts are cheaper too... yes it beats the highway I agree its Definitely a male..
Anyone driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac.

The showroom representative told me that deliveries will start from 18th itself..and yeah he told me that if i make the full payment now i will get the bike in 10 days..i guess by that he meant that all those who pay him in advance will get the bikes in the first lot itself which is about 30 bikes..
10 days from 18th means aftr 26th so i guess thats what he was saying but couldn say directly...
I still havent taken the test ride...not getting the time after office..

                  • Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum (this being the first post) and to the biking universe too. I brought home my Pulsar 200 NS on 16th from Dewan Bajaj, Lajpat Nagar. The bike is the most awesome and best looking pulsar(IMO) till now.

One thing that did upset me was on the next morning I found fuel leaking out. I took the bike back to the Dealer. The mechanic disconnected the plug cut the tube a little shorter and plugged it back in. Asking of his negligence He said he came as it was from the company itself and was not fitted by him. This being the first bike I ever owned I want to know whether this is a big issue?

Also could the odometer be reset by the dealer? There was another NS Blue that was TD.

                          • At last tested the New pulsar 200 NS - Amazing feeling after 10 years to ride the new one. yes its is the best pulsar to date. i felt it is little bit heavy compared to the old one but once u start to drive u will not feel it for sure even with the pillion. acceleration is very smooth certainly Honda engine. zero vibs compared to the 2002 pulsar's,brakes are very good n i never felt any heat in the legs but cant say without riding it for long. To me comparing ktm duke to 200 NS is total waste because both are very much different in riding style n stance. yes people who are thinking to get a new vehicle can surely opt for this one without any hesitation... Chennai guy's test drive has began !

If it stopped leaking fuel after the trimming done by the mechanic then no, it is not a big issue.

It can not be reset, however it can be disconnected to avoid the odo counting kms traveled.

Rear seat is bit in higher side, there is no attached foot rest to the saree gaurd, it may be difficult to rest the legs for ladies with saree.
