My Pulsar 200NS Engine Stalling!!!
Hi Guys,
Finally I got my Pulsar 200NS. I have an issue to report. Please tell me if any of the other owners experience this problem. My Engine is stalling after electric start after a 6-8 hour rest.
Below is the detailed explanation
After starting the bike, I let it idle for 20-30 secs. When I start revving it stalls between 2-3 Rpm range. If I rev it hard enough up to 3-4 RPM it will not stall. The engine sound is exactly like when your bike reaches reserve fuel level and you have to turn the lever. Once the engine is warmed up this issue will disappear. I took it to service and they said that this issue is totally normal and you should use the choke to start ALWAYS after long rests in a day!
I have not experienced this problem on my Discover or my Karizma. So guy what do you guys think? Please share your thoughts.

You can either use the choke for the first start and leave it to warm up(idleing) for 1 min or so, or increase the idle Rpm and the problem will be solved.Originally posted by Harsh Rider View PostI am facing the same problem, it is happening most of the time when i start the bike in mornings dont know what to do ??
??
P.S : Not advised to increase idle RPM too much, 1.4k ROM is more than enough.
Cheers

It probably a cold start issue. After using the bike for some time, if you start the bike when engine is still warm. it would not stall. Try it out and check if what i said is correct.Originally posted by CrashOverride2786 View PostHi Guys,

Your Air Fuel Ratio seems to be "too" lean. The Idle RPM is fine, for the first start of the day, but once engine is warmed up, it should be not less than 1500.Originally posted by CrashOverride2786 View PostHi Guys,
