I don't know. Never done such work and that's why i said i'm no expert.Originally posted by royal racer View PostYou mean to say upjetting people ride 200-250km to set both the jets because one jets need 100km two takes 200km..
My info can be wrong. You seem to know more about this thing. Peace out.
Ride safe and have fun.

I'm not sure bro. To you check what you have asked, I'm supposed to turn it to the leanest and then back to current setting again right??Originally posted by royal racer View PostYou dont have to ride few hundred kms .. Spark plugs shows color after 3-4kms. If it take 100km then how people manage to do upjetting in one day..
Shek can you tell me how many turns open now from full closed afr screw.

Ride for 15-20 kms in dense traffic or 50 kms on the highway to get an exact representation on the plug.Originally posted by shek15 View PostI'm not sure bro. To you check what you have asked, I'm supposed to turn it to the leanest and then back to current setting again right??
No way! With a plier, the threads will get negatively affected and may shear off. This would lead to lathe work on the engine. Work on the bike with a calm head and lots of patience.Originally posted by shek15 View PostLol
...you sure?Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Yes brother plug spanner is a must to remove and even to insert the plug safely...Originally posted by shek15 View Post

You can also use proper t-spanner to remove the plugs..
Also Be careful of not letting in anything from outside to go into plug hole :-)

@nuplulsar
Relax budy you are fine, its not damaged,
Go through runn in periods in this forum and gain ideas,
Be gentle on the bike short smoothe bursts,
Dont stay on one gear for too long
Dont lug the engine on low gears
Engine braking is recommended
Change oil at 500, 1500 and 3000 and 5000km on the odo then follow the drain in interval your oil and bike allow,
No sudden acceleration
No ripping
Be gentle.
Theres a lot more to running in read few runn in procedures in this forum it will help

@ nupulsar
Your answers buddy,
Happy to see you care about your bike so much,
I have a friend he has a 200ns and changed oil at 7000km for the first time, and then at 9000km and then sold the bike because it wasnt smooth, hell it wont be smooth after that:banghead:
1. Dont stay on one gear for too long
can you tell that approx how much time should i be in one gear
No time as such just dont cruize on each gear for over 5 to 10 mins, decrese speeds change gear to low or high or increase speed try using all your gears take gaps if your a highway rider.
2. can you please elaborate this "Dont lug the engine on low gears and short smoothe bursts"
lugging the engine is when your ona higher gear and lower speed you will hear a Knocking noise from the engine , dont let it do that, downshift immediately.
And going to 60 or 80 is no problem just no sudden acceleration, smoothe twist of the throttle on an open road, let it reach 60 or 80 then smoothly roll off the throttle...
Replace oil filter religiously with every oil change.

Thanks buddy Thanks for reply
the reason why i am so careing for the bike is because before this i rided bikes but they all are of my friends and cousin and i have a sccoter whos as you gears are at left hand side and bike has gears on foot so i takes some time to adjust on a bike so while this adustment sometime i exceeds the owners manual speeds and also at the time of bike purchase owners manual is not available at dealer so i donot know the recommended speed later when i got i got little worried that because of my mistake if the engine got damaged as it is my first bike and i never want to damage itLast edited by nupulsar; 06-06-2014, 11:33 PM.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I purchased my bike on 10th October 2013 . I am going for my last service tomorrow .. Is it too late ? I had exams past 2 weeks so couldn't go . If i don't do all servicing then the Warranty is invalid right . So if they deny free servicing tomorrow what should i do ? Should i get a paid one immediately ? or consider free servicing done 2 weeks ago and accordingly get the 1st paid servicing by counting the number of days from assumed 3rd free servicing ? The bike doesn't need servicing at all not much riding has been done . Between the 2nd and the 3rd servicing I have done Maximum 500 - 1,000 kms ..Had lot of studies.
