Tiny leak in the diaphragm can give this problem. Throttle slider will not lift up properly at low revs and low throttle. The effect of a tiny leak is not noticeable at higher revs when the vacuum developed is higher.

Guys update -

Went to meet my dealer today on the VIN issue I had of my bike. He told me frankly that they would not be able to replace the bike since the registration has already been done. This part I already knew that once registration is done the company (Bajaj) will not buy back the bike. So that was out of the question. Finally figured out the following which I would be going on Friday to get done -

1. Carb replacement, even though the mechanic confirmed its only the diapharm which is causing the issue
2. Console replacement
3. Headlight console replacement (threw that it due to the vibes)
4. Monoshock change
5. Extended warranty of 2 years on dealer expense which INCLUDES parts not covered under generic warranty (physical damage not included)
6. The mechanic also agreed to replace the wiring of the bike with a brand new harness, including those that run the aux lights

Additionally, he has agreed to give me a refund for the amount of the chain set and clutch plates (about INR 3,500) which I had gotten changed recently. Is this enough guys or do you think I should have thrown in something more ? getting greedy I am ...

Guess its better than nothing I would say.

Btw -

The dealer did not have the VIN guide handy however checked out the vehicles and the 10th digit details are as follows -

E - 2014
F - 2015
G - 2016 (most probably - this is what he told me)

Hope this helps.

I really am grateful for all the guys on here ( xplod566, @krixna, @jbm_guy, @kany1991, @Ujjwal96 and all others too) who helped me get through this by providing all info possible. Even the mechanic was shocked to hear from me that I think its was the diapharm causing the issue most probably but it could also be due to the pilot jet. Owe it to you !

I am also thinking to replace the carb as my bike is under warranty. What I wanted to ask is that, is it necessary to get the recommendation of the SVC guy for the carb change or I can walk in the service centre and directly ask for a carb replacement??

I would not be able to comment on that bro but I think that if you are stern enough and are adamant about getting it done the ASC should comply since anyway its under warranty.

• Battery for Pulsar 200 NS

Hi, I want to change the battery of my Pulsar 200 NS. But I am a little confused as I am not sure which one to buy. Should I go for Exide or Amaron? Is there any online service from where I can buy this? Please help.

Why do you want replacement of carb ? Have you damaged the jets or diaphragm mistakenly or is there any manufacturing defect ?

Yeah I want to Change the carb because my bike's acceleration is not smooth and there are hiccups besides tuning it many times and also got the carb cleaned the carb cleaning has improved the acceleration, but still there are hiccups and the mileage I am getting is between 25 -29 kmpl.[emoji20] So finally i am thinking of changing it.

Yeah buddy... Sure is close... When I go for getting this done I am gonna tell the ASS guy to change the spark plugs too... Hahaha hope he doesnt throw me out post that... Guess I got more than I had bargained for so I am not complaining.

Btw - I have heard that a teflon coating dulls out the paint in due course of time... True ?

My devil is now due for visual makeover ... Shortlisting some designs .. Do you suggest teflon prior or post that ?

My interpretation... You would ruin the picture frame as you most probably would be crouching when burning the road.. So all the cam would catch is your beautiful tank in all its glory showing off its sexy cuts and curves... Hahaha
