Hey [MENTION=6418]gaurav[/MENTION], bro what are the problems that your facing with the carb? I am asking this because I am also thinking of getting the carb replaced under the warranty.

my model is 2 year old (Feb 2014). odo is 18,000km.

1 => when i start the bike in neutral, and then i pull in the clutch the engine sound became different, if i let out the clutch then again engine sound is different. in short engine sound difference in clutch in & clutch out on neutral

2 => how to fix the shaky RPM needle, i m really annoyed by this now.

3 => headlight faring assembly vibration around 4.5k to 5.5k rpm.

4 => don't know it my problem, or everybody has it, but for me it is very hard to find neutral when engine is running, and as soon as i turn engine off, i can find neutral easily. why?

5 => how to check my radiator fan is working, because i haven't that fan sound for a while now.

Please help me, as this issues with my bike, not giving me sound sleep at night.
Here are some hints that might help you and @GauravD

          1. Yes, I have the same. But that's the least audible sound. The wet clutch plates are also engaged when you depress the clutch wire which adds up some load to your engine, which in turn generates a different sound. This is one reason why you should go to neutral when possible at stop rather than holding clutch as this will result in quicker wear (in long run)
          2. Two issues, either sensor (tacho) is not working well or the needle mount is worn out. Dropping the bike or hit over something will easily mess up. Plus the LCD display crystal as well
          3. No vibrations at headlight for me. Fasten the bolts is required... that's all I can think
          4. Bajaj engine oil makes the job difficult. To locate neutral, you need to move the vehicle a bit forward or backward when at stop or apply 1\2 of pressure when 1-N-2.
          5. Ride at 1st and 2nd gear only for 15-20 minutes at speeds from 30-60 kph. You will start feeling it... you wont ask again

          @kany1991

Bro, how is your yi cam?. I have asked my friend to buy it from US with accessories set. I think the chest mount will be very good and also disguise a bit to avoid unwanted attractions like a helmet mount.

Hope to get it in my hand in a week time. Do you have any video, slow mo style etc?.

Hey fellow NSians! A few days back my bike fell in the parking lot(stupid parking attendant). Although no damage was done, i have been hearing a buzzing/humming noise from the console area at around 3k to 5k rpm. Today i removed the headlight assembly and rode the bike to find out that the noise was coming from the ignitinion assembly. Pressing and holding down the key into the ignition barrel dampens the buzzing to some extent but its still there. Can somebody please come up with a solution and save me from my agony. The constant buzzing is driving me nuts! Thanks!

                Hey bro...

                1. Dead pickup at lower revs. Had the carb cleaned and redone, no good. Still dead as ever. Leads to believe that the pilot jet maybe having an issue since the top end seems to be fine - touching 100 at 6.8k rpm.

                2. Low mileage trending. Sane riding yields a max of 30-33 kmpl. Ripping it drops even further.

Would you happen to know if a clutch plate change could lead to this death of power at the lower revs.. Asking since this death started primarily after i changed the clutch plate and chain sprocket.

What is a clutch bell ? How can one tell if the change in sound is due to a faulty clutch bell or due to the clutch plates engaging ?

I do not trust the svc guys to figure this out... Lol

Clutch could be the culprit for this since clutch is involved while picking up speeds from standstill or zero. As you mentioned it started after the clutch plate change but I am not sure. Did you try tunning your carb?

Yup.. carb's at 1.5 CO plus checked the clutch play and the chain slack...

The bikes kinda "heavy" if you know what I mean.. its almost as if its been forced to run, in the lower revs.. I really have to twist the throttle to make it work

My bike feels sluggish in lower revs say (3-4k) noticed it today when i was cruising in lower revs and gives jerks too [emoji29]
I guess mech touched my AFR [emoji35]

Hmm, it seems that your bike's rear wheel is too tight check for its free play by rotating the rear wheel manually while the bike is place on a center stand. Return back if it doesn't help.[emoji4]
