Yeah the quality is really poor.I feel bad To see it.I wonder what QC they do in assembly line!
It is such a cabaple engine yet letdown by major flaws .this would be probably my last bajaj bike

Absolutely.. Bringing new and bigger bikes into the market will not help bajaj retain the majority marketshare that they have in the the narke right now. With the transition of the bike using segment from commuter to biking enthusiasts this is bound to catch up with bajaj some day in the near future. Just a thought, is the Mojo worth the hype being created around it ? I am thinking of taking a td to make up my mind. Was considering the R3 however its quite an expansion on my budget.

I test rode the mojo.its a pretty awesome bike.the tyres are excellent.handling is pretty good, only when you are at a decent speed.flicking through traffic is equally good only when in a decent speed.its because it's heavy and at very slow speeds like less than 10kmph you feel the weight.but the power isn't that huge compared to NS .it has better tourque though.its around 182 KGS wet and thats a lot of weight.
R3 is probably the best twin cylinder bike money can buy.the engine is just next level of refinement.
I was thinking of duke 200 (2016 model) but only problem is its made by bajaj
Also saw the ownership review and seems lots of issues are there(typical)
Other than that it seems flawless.

Yes they bring rs with fairing etc but its so sad to see that people are literally facing so many issues with it like vibes then fairing rattling.something is so wrong with bajaj that their basics seems So wrong.that's their flagship bike and when I go through the forum almost everyone has fairing vibes and tons of issues.I have never seen so many problems on a TVs or Yamaha or Honda(except the 250R) because they do vigorous testing and doesn't want the customer to suffer
Although we can hope they improve their quality but I can bet you in the next 2 years its even gonna detoriate.hope they fix this.
One ofy friend told a very beautiful statement when we were discussing that AS/NS/RS200 are incredible value for money bike.He just told "Bro you get what you pay for "

Well for me i just got pissed off.I visisted SVC thrice in the span of 1 month and even though explaining them multiple times they never believed me and told the same BS everytime that its in my head.I have literally given them numbers and still they overlooked it.Remember i told before,i never had mileage issues.Sometimes it used to give me 43 on highwyas and 37 on Bangalore B2B traffic. But if i park it for a long time then i can see that i cover atleast 10 Kms less every 9 hours parket-Meaning the Fuel is evaporating from Carb(A common probs with carb). One day i had to push the bike as the fuel evaporation was too much and then i noticed no Fuel.I was like WHAT! NOW I HAVE TO PUSH IT!!!!I just filled Fuel for 200 bucks and went hardly 70Kms.That day i ,lost my nerves and complained to Bajaj.I explained him everything and they listened and told me my complainw as genuine as by my Bike Reg no they found it i did went there 3 times in the sapn of 1 month.I was polite but i hold my point of it getting fixed as for SVC.
I didnt know how to fix until RohIIT and Divya Sharan helped me on understanding the cause of the issue as our Primes suspect was the Float Valve!

They kept it for observation for 3 days and then tells me they still couldnt find any issue.I was like"DUUUUDDDDEEEEEEE I WANT TO SMOKE WHAT YOU ARE SMOKING!"Finally i told the SVC Head guy if he cant find a problem that doesnt mean it isnt there. Its just that they are not capable enough to find the issue.I think this statement kind of hurted them and next day they say they have replaced the carb. They did it infront of me and damn after replacing i actually understood how messed up the old carb was.It lacked pickup, irratic ideling.....all these were not there on the new carb.Later the job was closed saying it resolved.I cant ask for more as they actually replaced it after multiple request.

I havent been able to confirm yet as i generally put 200 bucks of fuel and then from Reserve to Reserve i check the mileage.Twice i got around 114.3 Kms and 115.1 Kms.Thats some good numbers considering riding in B2B bangalore traffic.Thats how i did it.I would say log a complain to bajaj @18002332453 and tell them about the problem and also tell them what you suspect could be the issue with the bike(For me i told i suspect carb). If you complain to Bajaj they rasie a ticket and give it to you(And you get a text also). The ticket remains open until the issue is solved and its upto the customer when he decides to close the ticket. The longer the ticket is open the more it hurts the ASC.Once you log a complain you will get a call from the Head Office.Hope it helps.
Well, a carb needs to be replaced only if there's a manufacturing defect in it's Body. Or if some areas like the holes for the butterfly valve's shaft, bore for the choke, or the bore for the throttle slider has worn out. Or if it has developed a crack. You can solve any carb problem other than the above by changing or adjusting the parts inside. I have been working with carbs for over 10 years now. Various models from cars and bikes. I think I should start a thread about it soon. At least, will help us bike people even if the service guys are dumbos.

Currently I am running on Motul 7100 Fully Synthetic. Its a bit costly as compared to Bajaj's engine oil BUT its 10 times better than that. NVH levels has decreased by a huge margin plus the bike feels quite relaxed even at 8k rpm. It also lasts longer about 5000-7000 kms (depends on your riding style). And the quantity needed to be filled is around 1.2-1.4 ltrs.

Yes definitely if you can start.bajaj loves carb and there are people who still thinks low pickup is due to carb AFR adjustment without checking chain slack etc etc and hence end up in tuning a brand new carb!
