Please can u suggest if we can fix double sided gear shifter on NS. Like the one on commuter bikes like Splendour or Discover? That way I can avoid giving pressure on my fingers n toe.
Sorry to hear about your toe bro.. Hope the medics did a good job.

As far as it seems a double sided shifter may not be possible with the current foot peg setup... See pic... The peg would interfere with the movement of the shifter. Do not know if a modded foot peg could be possible to support your requirement.

On second thought, you could think about getting rid of the peg module and use the current gear lever swivel to attach a custom foot peg. Savvy ? Worth giving a try ... I guess

Sounds good. Just checked with My Bajaj ASS guys. They have been good to my bike always so I trust them.. He suggested to leave the bike for a day and they will make a modded peg by welding. No mods will be done to the bike, just to the peg. Once I am ok, it can be replaced with the original peg..

      Sounds good?

Bro, the E in your VIN stands for 2014, which means it could have been manufactured anytime in 2014. Btw, from where did the RTO guys get the manufacturing month/year??? I have no idea.

The RTO guys did not and hopefully they do not ... I read a few articles on the growing fraud of old vehicles being sold as new...

Which is why I checked out my VIN number..

Our bike has a self-tensioning system. Spring adjusts accordingly when chain becomes loose.

I thought I got a wrong reading first, so did two more times! I rode mainly btw 3-5K rpms, no difference in performance from before. Hit the rev limiter (about 10K rpm) after the test, in 3rd gear. No suitable road to rev to the limit after 3rd gear

Took apart most of the bike and put washers / double sided tape in all places where there was a possibility of the tank fairing the seat vibrating and causing sounds. Hard and lengthy work but the outcome has paid off well. Also tightened all fairing bolts inside the tank fairing.

Also attaching cpl of pics of my spark plugs, any suggestions about the AFR ?

Plugs look fine. You are running at the correct or a bit lean AFR for sure.
You have done some work in cutting out those washers!

Getting very low mileage of 25 kmpl though everything seems fine. Got the carb cleaned 2-3 days back. What could be the reason?

Lol.. Yea i had an old tube lying around from my previous bike so got that out and put that to good use.

I am thinking of taking the CO up to about 1.8 and see where it lands me.. My only concern - i am currently getting about 30 to 33 kmpl at 1.47 CO. Just worried it would drop further.

Btw just outta curiosity.. What carb are we running on the NS ? Does the tappet have an impact on the performance in terms of pick up...
