Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
The noise is like "chhick, chhick, chhick". It like something is cutting the wind, it is felt near the front sprocket and left foot peg. The sound starts after 70kmph. OR after 5k rpm(in 6th gear).Originally posted by GauravD View PostSame thing happened with me... My local guy took apart the carb top diapharm area and set it back. The accel was bang on post that.
Mind my asking, what kinda noise you getting from the chain ?

hmmmmmm... lucky you to have got this correct with the manual method. I tried and tried and tried and tried to get it done right but did not work out for me.Originally posted by kany1991 View PostFrankly speaking I've never done co tuning on my both Bikes [emoji40]
For AFR tuning i use old school method RPM needle 1.6 is my ideal milage(36-40)+performance(90-120 kmph) [emoji16][emoji16]

I was facing this issue too a while back. In my case, the front sproket was slightly loose and there was something stuck in the casing which was rubbing against the socket. You may wanna check it out once before investing a good portion of 2K for this. No harm in being sure I guess.Originally posted by Ujjwal96 View PostThe noise is like "chhick, chhick, chhick". Just remove these 3 bolts and take off the cover to find out. Takes 5 minutes.Originally posted by GauravD View Posthmmmmmm... lucky you to have got this correct with the manual method. I tried and tried and tried and tried to get it done right but did not work out for me.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
My issue is sorted bro... I had to get the chain set replaced even after the sprockets being in pristine condition since there was a mfg defect not covered under warranty - uneven slack.Originally posted by krixna View PostJust remove these 3 bolts and take off the cover to find out. Btw thanks for the info dude.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Does anyone know as to where could I find the VIN plate on the engine of the bike. Would be appreciated. Also, a guide if possible as to how to decode the VIN

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Bhai, it is Vehicle Identification Number and is found on the frame, not the engine.Originally posted by GauravD View PostDoes anyone know as to where could I find the VIN plate on the engine of the bike. Would be appreciated. Also, a guide if possible as to how to decode the VIN
Edit: Turn handlebar to left and look under the lock, on right side.
This might help:

Bhai have you checked the VIN of your bike ever on this site ? Asking because I checked the VIN of my bike out here ... it states model year E - 2014 whereas my RC states 2015 ... I am totally confusedOriginally posted by krixna View PostBhai, it is Vehicle Identification Number and is found on the frame, not the engine.

SJCam. But beware of fake ones. Lots of fake SJCams are in the market. Then there is Garmib Virb. But I think it starts at 20k.Originally posted by saran93 View PostLooking to buy sports and action cam. Budget is 15k. Only camera I ever know Gopro Hero1. Nice idea. But doesn't look good on the NS. Maybe you could have tried to get an extension, just like the ones on some lower end bikes.Originally posted by krixna View PostPlastic cut out from 1.5L soda bottle ensures bottom of engine stays clean

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
You can't see it when the handlebar is straight, because it is low down. Also, it's transparent. Thinking of painting it matt black. Anyways better than having a muddy silencer pipe and engineOriginally posted by danny king View PostSJCam. But beware of fake ones. Lots of fake SJCams are in the market. Then there is Garmib Virb.
