CS200? How can u be so sure about it. Even NS FI is not a confirmed news.Originally posted by kany1991 View PostOnce u rode NS u want to go faster and faster its nature of ns little twist on throttle and you'll hit triple digits.
NS changed my 6 year old driving style [emoji40] i never cross 90 on my p180 but on NS i touch 120 almost every day on same route [emoji16]
So its our advice buy a 2nd hand fz for 6 months and then buy a new NS fi and if you're lucky enough you may buy a CS200 [emoji6]

Some research on AFR screw, town/city ridingOriginally posted by jbm_guy View PostA leaner mixture will always make the engine getting hot..... So it's common, plus the vibes will creep up to. But you should see a better mileage....
Remember to bring it back.... If you lose the spot, you will have to count your luck [emoji6]
2.5 - 30-33kmpl, beast in low revs and midrange
2.0 - 33-35, powerful in low revs and midrange
1.5 - 35-38, power in low revs is a bit less, midrange almost same
1.0 - 38-40, power less in low and midrange
0.75 - 'missing' starts, did not ride to check mileage
0.5 - engine stalls at 1500 rpm, idle speed required to keep engine running: 2000
Present setting: 1.5, mileage around 38.

I guess 2.5 is stock.??
I'm a bit skeptical to try, but now my hands are itching [emoji14]. I will have to find my current setting.... It's stock setting, but my mileage is 32(when revved hard 90% of times) and 38(when driven less than 55kph)

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
It may take more time.... Right now Bajaj has come with V series vintage model 150 series. Either cs400 or 200ns must be released to compete with Apache 200 and BMWG310r beauty beast. This is expected by April 2016Originally posted by bikerahul View PostCS200? How can u be so sure about it. Even NS FI is not a confirmed news.

I mean the same AFR setting of yours in another ns might give a different result. [emoji54] [emoji54]

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
True to an extent. If I am following these business leaders correctly, I am sure CS400 or another NS 200 n above will only come late in 2016. These companies allow each other to earn n gain market share for some time. All the products have a schedule for launch and somehow these are synchronised amongst the competitors. Its called 'interdependency'.Originally posted by jbm_guy View PostIt may take more time.... Right now Bajaj has come with V series vintage model 150 series. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Correct. The screw is for adjusting the mix that comes from the pilot jet (size 15). Now this size itself can vary a bit in manufacture, or the hole may get a little bigger over time. There are some other factors inside the carb and the engine (condition) which affect (or decide) the mixture for a specific bike. 2.5 to 1.5 is just a guideline.Originally posted by Ankitsingh007 View PostBut as much i know these setting differs on every other bike.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hahaha....true. Thats also about how much one does fine tune. 1/2 tune could end up 1/3 for another guy and there starts the prob. Best is to find their current setting and begin with....Originally posted by Ankitsingh007 View PostBut as much i know these setting differs on every other bike.

Many knows, but saying again.
To do that, fully rotate to close and carefully measure how much turns u took to reach...now do ur tuning... If things go wrong, close fully again and rewind back to stock...... My svc mechanic told me once, but warned me, dont come back saying you ve lost pickup bla bla bla.... [emoji13] [emoji13]
I'd better leave it for now

Damn i love u for this !! I think you just found a solution to my issues of dull pick up at the lower revs. My carb is tuned at 1.5 i think. I will take it and get it up to 2.0 and hopefully it should rectify stuff.Originally posted by krixna View PostSome research on AFR screw, town/city riding

However the mileage which you have mentioned at 2.0 is what i get at 1.5. How much do you reckon that would change ? I regularly do 120 k runs on the highway every morning when riding to office.
Btw is this the CO setting or the turns ?

Gaurav whats the Kilometers reading in ODO?
When was the last time you tuned your carb?(Kiloemeters would help)
When was the last time the clutch plate was changed?(Kiloemeters would help)
When was the last time you changed the Diapharm?(Kiloemeters would help)
