I paid around 1400₹ for insurance, it's ORIENTAL bank company, as they have tie up with bajaj here.
Guys I talked to two ns owner who had their disc straighten out by hammering for 50₹, one have run 3000kms from them, and he doesn't had any problems till now.

The day I don't ride, I just breathe..

You should claim insurance on it and you would get 85-90% of the cost. This would be the best for you.

What nadz11.ns said. Plus it reduces the effectiveness of your brakes. Would you trust your life to a deformed brake disc when you have to do an emergency stop from, say, 100+ speeds?

In any case, the cash your would pay for the brake disc is the almost the same amount as the insurance premium itself. So you lose more money by paying cash for it than by saving on the no claim bonus ultimately.

Man..... most bajaj svs are frauds...
        Anjali svc in new ballyganj
Once charged me the following for fixing my rear brakes
        140rs brake oil
        280rs brake pads
        Labour 200
        Vat etc extra

Ps:- I have a p150 classic with rear drum brakes and all they had done was tightening the rear rake lever.....
        Even the shoes were old.
He said brake pads were the brake shoes (85 rs original bajaj ones)
And he said the rear brake drum is filled with brake fluid to aid braking...
I was like,.. wtf dude I am not a noob or an idiot!
After a fight all he said was he will never service my bike etc... and a complaint to bajaj was useless

        divyansh....

Didn't you thanked him for not servicing your bike, this is the problem of most service centres, either you accept there way of servicing or they will not service it.

Don't claim insurance for something as low as 1500 INR..

Complaint does work bro .. I had complained for rear disc bent issue... They said I would have to pay for disc.. And is not covered in warranty...
I had complained to customer care and trust me the service manager called up in an hour to inform that new disc plate had been ordered and I wont have to pay for it ..
And in end was begging me to give him good review in order to avoid cut in his salary... always remeber you are paying your hard earned money for their and its their duty to provide service.. If they dont give them a hard time..
If I had been in your place I would called and informed about the guy and services.. And also would have given him a good blasting
For some reason I like fighting with svc people :-p
Try mentioning consumer forum in your complaint .. It works wonder :-P

So the labor charge for chain cleaning/lubing should be free
Ask them why they are topping up a Maintenance Free battery so early? This too should be free.

The distilled water, coolant, lube etc. should be billed as consumables and should not cost over 100 rupees for all. (You can get a liter of distilled water for 10 rupees here and a bottle of coolant should not cost over 300 for a liter).

Ask them to provide a detailed bill with labor costs and material cost displayed separately. I don't know the exact price of DTSI 20W50 oil but the oil filter costs 74 rupees inclusive of all taxes.

AFAIK VAT does not apply to labor charges, only service tax applies there.
Guys i pay only rs60 for chain lubing and 74 for oil filter and some 470/370 i din't remember but it is mention in my bill...15 for washing and 15 for polishing.ludhiana, punjab same for my bike discover 135 except oil filter(used in pulsar 200ns).

Since the disc is going to be replace, I'm having a shot at hammering, if it looks even 0.2% odd, I'll replace it.
And today saw the bajaj dtsi oil svc uses from drums, man it looked more dirtier than the motul 3100 I drained after 2200kms of usage.

What are you saying bro. .? I'm asking which carb setting you talking about. .? Idle(not ideal) or afr. .? The procedure for both is different, to alter idle setting, on rear brake pedal side, look for a white plastic nut, and adjust idle setting by rotating it clockwise, until rpm reaches 4k, Then slowly rotate it anticloclwose, until it reaches 1.5k Then leave it.
