Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hello Friends
My experience from last Sunday is asking me to change my front Tyre. Actually what happened is, i was about to take a turn, the road was on concrete and was clean (No dust or water) when i applied brake and my front Tyre get slipped. It made me frightened as i had met with 4 big and small accidents till now and every time i experienced the skidding of front Tyre either on gravel, or slippery road, or watery road and one of which gave me a big personal loss (Fracture in foot of my love).
So now i had decided to change my front Tyre. I am running on stock Eurogrip and had done almost 22 K on ODO.
My preference are Michelin Pilot Sporty Tubeless which i am getting delivered at door step from a website for Rs.1630/-. The link is here Buy 100/80R17 Size Michelin PILOT SPORTY TUBELESS Tyre :: TyreOnWheels.com .
Kindly suggest if any other good and economical too option.Last edited by teotia001; 01-29-2014, 06:57 PM.2012 till Now - Pulsar 200 NS
Coming Soon - Royal Enfield Bullet Electra
And so onnnn.......
Last but not the least - Hellcat X132

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
22K on ODO itself is reason enough to change the front tyre. Eurogrips IIRC are hard compound and that's why lasted 22k, am sure they still have a few thousand KM left.Originally posted by teotia001 View PostSo now i had decided to change my front Tyre. But, if it doesn't instill confidence in riding then its about time you change it.

It's a good option as these are soft/med compound and offer good grip and control plus the price seems fair too.
The downside is being soft/med compound tyre it wouldn't last as long as Eurogrips and will be prone to punctures.
Just my 2 cents
For other recommendations am sure others will chime in.Last edited by Mr.Officer; 01-29-2014, 10:28 PM.Never argue with a fool, for he will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

I hope you know ffe is much than just a can of steel.. And what other things/parameters need to be changed when a ffe is installed.
Which brand ffe you buy ?
Ride safe and have fun.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Yesterday I went to svc to enquire about availability of tank cover. Not in stock for more than a month.
And I saw this

Is it a quality issue? Never seen such a broken wheel. It forces me to think that what may happen to ns when it hits a nasty pothole at speeds, considering both are made by bajaj and 390 is a more premium product.
Pls share if any one has any experience hitting potholes at high speeds.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Sold my Pulsar 220 n now waiting to buy the new dual tone Pulsar 200 NS. Hard luck. Out here in Assam products arrive a bit late n there is not a single bike in stock where I live. I was drawn aback by the blue black colour of the 200 NS which I saw at Delhi 2 weeks ago.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Can't say if this is a quality issue or common with alloy wheels. I had same issue almost a years ago (Jan'13) when my bike's both alloys were broken when I hit a pothole with a speed of 70 kmph arrox.Originally posted by skv View PostIs it a quality issue? Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Glad I could be of any help, by the way, can you elaborate which exhaust (price too) and types of stickers you brought from there. And yes shop is very genuine and shopkeeper very friendlyOriginally posted by abhiwltya View PostI roamed about and enquired the accesories i wanted in about 6-7 shops and i have to say pardesi was the best of them all.Really helpful guy and the best price.I bought some stickers and a free flow exhaust, and the guy even gave me the mechanics location in bhopal who will fit it for me.All in all great experience.
Visit 390 ownership and YOU WILL BE ASTONISHED to see how deeply 390 owners are crying due to crappy bajaj quality, all the last 20-30 pages of 390 duke forum is filled with owners facing bike Stalling, rims cracking, and God knows what kind of issue. But I'm glad 200ns had only problems of AFR settings, not Any major..!!Originally posted by skv View PostYesterday I went to svc to enquire about availability of tank cover. Also it's a function of alloy wheels to absorb the shock on impact and break, so that rider don't get to feel that shock, which can easily crack your bones. .(see it cracked alloys).but it shouldn't crack like D390.
Pls elaborate more, 70kmph and broken alloy, how did you escape. .?Originally posted by teotia001 View PostCan't say if this is a quality issue or common with alloy wheels.
