When.I was in karol bagh, a guy in different shop brought a exhaust for 3k(fitting included) ,don't know any specs or it was a improving spec type, but man, when I pulled the throttle (he requested to ride my r15 and I his ns) what a lovely sound, but sadly I've heard so much of inline 4 sounds (on YouTube, and recently z1000R ) that now even a duke390 exhaust sound doesn't attracts me, just waiting for the day when I'll be having a big league beast.
4.5 K.. Even 3 K sounds expensive for me for my NS.. Truely said Anuj_Gupta some need a big heart along with pocket with extra money.

I had read somewhere may be on XBhp, A goat cant roar like Lion even if she is given meat to eat like a lion.. So I had decided not to ruin my NS by using cheap aftermarket exhaust..
Someday I will get my lion which will roar as per my expectations..

, because when there is a lot of air exiting the exhaust note is bound to get fuzzy. And so to get the balance between high flow and good exhaust note a lot of bike specific engineering is required which ofcoarse, costs money

One of my friend in my neighbour got free flow exhaust installed on his Pulsar 220 and his brother's RE Thunderbird.. I didnt even enquired about the price and shop from him as I personally found they loud but lacking in original sound like one we get from akrapovic ones..

I am thinking of to get one prepared by a Steel Fabricator using steel pipes.. Will work on this and let u guys know if it works well..

No sir, I beg to differ, that time I heard the exhaust note of the fellow who had 3k invested, man, I wanted to rob a bank and have that exhaust, can't tell you the music it was, (take stock exhaust note to be bhojpuri song and that custom to be a Bollywood movie song )
But once you listen live to inline 4 sound, everything else will feel.like" noise"

Talking about 3-5k big to spend on bike. .? My brother just spend 4k on hids, 2k on custom adjustable clutches, 500₹ on parking lights, 1k on side lights (like those that shine along headlight of Audi cars) and was heard to spend more on his r15 .
And you should see how crazy people are, they will buy 20k stuff for a 80k bike. .(a fz guy did in front of me)

It's good that you did such thing for your maa (mine scolds me every time for that 2 finger wide side footkeeper, but this chrome has ruined the look of bike, get a black aerosol paint spRay and make it look black, so that it camouflages. .

You are wrong, a good free flow exhuast helps a with performance, and for some even a slight increase in performance matters more than outright exhaust note

Be careful that you dont make an exhaust where the angle differs a lot from stock. Might harm the engine

That's Speedo error, try your testing accurate gps speed by having a android/iphone+2g\3g net+ Speedo app.
Mine never went above 128 or I didn't get a long empty stretch till now.

Up to an extend, if you plan to compete with 220 for say 1.5km stretch, then maybe or maybe not, as the faring do helps, ,

It can beat P220 in top speed, not by a huge margin though, an inch or a mile winning is still winning. It may have 20cc less displacement than P220 but have a liquid cooled engine which produces more power, hence, better top end. P220 fairings are a joke and not even properly aerodynamic.
I am back!

I did the gps thing sometime back . My S3 has superb gps and using my tracks app (as i can set the gps accuracy in it) i reached 139 but on other runs i have crossed that by a bit according to the speedo.

But on long highway strecthes 220 can maintain speeds plus 130 which is hard to do in NS bcoz of no fairing. once i got so bloody terrified when i was around 125 and due to a suddent change in direction of wind or whatever the bike shook like someone kicked it. Has anyone else felt this?

True indeed. Taking a top speed run on NS feels damn scary due to the wind blast. idk but I found if I crouch down and maintain that position, the speedo number keeps going up, I hit a 145 recently that way. Otherwise in normal riding posture, the bike struggles to go past 130 kmph.

Also 3k-5k is not much to spend on a decent exhaust.. only if it doesn't do any bad instead of good. A request ! could you please take a vid of your exhaust note and post it here. as well as the look of the bike. So entire the FFE setup cost u 4.5k ? How much time it took for fitting it ? Also, as ur in delhi, do cops pull you over and cut a challan for this loud aftermarket FFE. @Cleaner What is your opinion on the use of FFE in NS ? longerm effects ?

And looks like our bro Anuj is banned again, I wonder why :/

I had a query , On the right of the bike near the nitrox suspension there is a container thing pale yellowish colour , is it rear brake oil container ( Attached a photo ) ? I tried opening it , but the cap wont even budge . Mine seems empty to me (90% sure ) , Maybe because the container isn't transparent I might be wrong . What does brake oil / fluid facilitate ( please explain ) ? would my brakes stop working if I don't refill it ? I have my 2nd free servicing on 20th feb , so i am thinking of waiting till then .

My bike reaches 102 on 7 rpm on 6th gear , what about you guys ?

Braking always seemed a problem to be.... never skid , however efficiently i try to brake the tyres don't co-operate at all .. have to engine brake sometimes ... takes me 35-50 ft to stop it from 100 to nil..
