My ALL BLACK and YELLOW P200NS...///
please give your thoughts about it..
The fender eliminator is a good touch, btw, the missing RVM is a eyesore and also a bad move too.
Cheers

Thank you bro for your valuable inputs. Though I have a helmet I am thinking to purchase another one. I've been riding a Pulsar 220 for 2.5 years now amd sold it 2 weeks ago. Can't wait to get my hands on the NS. Monsoon out here. It rains almoat everyday out here except during summer.Originally posted by shadowgun View Posthttp://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bhagat_Singh.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hi all
Got my black NS last Tuesday. Initially the idling Rpm was around 2.5 to 3. Went to the svc next day and the guy turned a screw on the right side of the carburator and set it to 1.5. Had done 40kms with high idling only. Now there doesn't seem to be a problem.
One more problem is the sound from the rear brakes. It disappears sometimes too. Please suggest a remedy.
Today observed water droplets falling from the exhaust. Though No rain or any contact with water for my bike yet

1: 2.5-3.0 is very high idling...!!! 1.5 is perfect, tho it should be ~1.3 acc manual, I think.
2: Brakes...just the rear disk right ? Wash the brake area with jet water spray as there could be a very small piece of stone that could give the trouble...if still it gives the same sound...take to SC and ask them to clean the brake pads.
3: I'm not sure ...

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
There is some margin of speedometer error in every bike. I weigh like 70 kgs something. And if all that was speedo error and my bike wasn't actually going anything above the officially claimed 136 kmph, it wouldn't overtake the Duke200. You yourself can go much higher than 126 kmph on your bike if you crouch and have a good tail wind. People have clocked speeds upto 158 kmph on NS, even 160 etc. True claims or not... NS does have a topspeed advantage over other performance bikes in the same segment.Originally posted by pratiksgole View PostI am no pro with bikes , but I think there is a speedometer error with your bike 151-153 seems plausible . How much do you weigh ?
I weigh 97 and have touched 126 limited by the length of clear roads .
And about the Cbr 250r guy , not everyone likes to max out their throttle people tend to limit their speed to 130-140 ..
And the CBR250r rider was clearly going full throttle.. if you had seen you'd believe.. though he had a pillion. If you ever take your bike to the Yamunna expressway, you'll understand why bikers go full throttle on that road. At speeds consistently around 149-151 kmph my bike comfortably went past the CBR250r repeatedly. Also I read on the internet that going anything over 90 mph (144kph) on a CBR is like "pushing it". For me personally, this wasn't about any sort of gay achievement.. but only a test to see full potential of my machine. xD

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
However you justify yourself broken87, but 150+ is a bit too much for ns, . Though god knows why i felt good reading that(as though i have touched that speed myself),

Where are you located? My understanding is, in Assam Monsoon=SummerOriginally posted by sauravdyakuza View PostThank you bro for your valuable inputs. Here at Jorhat it only rains in summer not in winter. You can get original LS2 helmets in Dibrugarh. You got the bike yet? Beware of guys promising you to get a bike in a day or two, I spend the most of the times near highway and I have not seen the delivery truck in weeks.
broken87 you need to get it measured with a speedgun, then, only then, I'd believe your top speed claim.I am back!
