Can I also know how to set the time in the speedometer?

I do understand what you say. Last time I tried to change the time in my apache. It just ruined all data in the ODO , so this time I wanted to make sure that I adjust the time only and don't ruin the data in ODO so I asked as I don't have the manual just yet. I know it sounds silly and I'm sorry.

            Go ON Goutham....
Hit the buttons... nothing will be lost... the max that can happen is instead of 30 minutes time difference you may land at 5 hrs difference .. but no data loss would be there dear....

Ok, will inquire about them. And looks would be an added advantage.:thumbup:

None data can be erased except TRIP 1,2 ,CLOCK and service reminder sign.
              Take it easy buddy.
He just might be right, because sometime back I heard in some bike while reaetting the trip meter, everyrhing got erased or something like that. :

I tired the manual time setting thing , The problem i faced is that the mode and set button work perfectly fine on their own , but the 2nd step where i have to press both of them for it to allow me to change digit values just doesn't work , have tried about 10 times till now . Even 1 of my friend who owns a 200ns tried on my bike . I'll get it fixed during servicing till then my G-shock is working fine :P

No need to say sorry its good to be cautious. And I do understand your tendency of querries, congrats for your new bike first. And dont worry about being silly and anything else. Everyone when new to something behaves same, I am and many here would be happy to answer all your querries. Read the last lines, it may help you.

Brother if you dont mind can I request you to not to behave like this, he is new to the forum. No one is here to have such an experience, you could have told the things in mannered way as well or could have kept silent.

@all I really feel bad when someone bashes others for having some or other shortcomings, let whatever be the reason. Pls for god's sake dont make anyone feel bad for their shortcomings.

Faced same, tried many times but for no good, but accidently once tried to set before starting the bike. And as far as I remember it worked this way.
Try doing it without starting the bike. Just have engine kill switch in on position. It may work as it worked for me.

Np, I just waited for 10 mins there at the expressway for you and then left.. had a blast!.. riding on the expressway. The auto expo was just ok experience.. was insanely crowded.

Got to see all of the bikes up close. The Pulsar SS 400 appears to have a solid build and looks big up close. Just terrific detailing everywhere. Can't wait to see it's specs and price. Lol, I left the expo without checking out supercars and concept cars.. my only purpose was to see the bike zone !

Apache is extremely capable bro.. I love it! NS is well ahead in many ways but not light years lol.

On my way home I had two roaring R15 v2's with conical K&N and two 200NS' racing on the expressway and I joined them :P. Man we had blast.. illegal but fun. xD

Old single tone colored bikes are not available in any dealership in Assam, I tried them all. What they have are the display and TD bikes in single tone color.
                          I am back!
