Here at Jorhat it only rains in summer not in winter. You can get original LS2 helmets in Dibrugarh. You got the bike yet? Beware of guys promising you to get a bike in a day or two, I spend the most of the times near highway and I have not seen the delivery truck in weeks.
broken87 you need to get it measured with a speedgun, then, only then, I'd believe your top speed claim.
Ya just came back home now. The trailer came yesterday. And I got my 200 NS 3 hrs ago. I have reached home. And I must say after riding a pulsar 220 dtsi for 2.5 years a transition to 200 NS was a damn good decision which I won't regret. And my god what power. Though I came home at speeds upto 45 kmph the ride was lovely. Awesone stability ,great cornering skills. I loved it. Will be posting pics soon. And I am the first owner in upper assam to get the dual colour NS. Thank god it did'nt rain today. But its very dusty around here. Have to wash my bike. I got the bike in just an hour. They just fitted accesories and nothing else.
Coolant engine oil all was ok.

Congrats on your purchase bro, I'm happy for you. But your claim about being the first owner of a dual tone 200NS in upper-Assam is not true, I have seen many AS03 registered dual tone NS here. How are those tires and how much did you pay for the bike? If you ever come to Jorhat, do inform me.

Don't know. Might be the dealer personnel meant district. As in Tinsukia and dibrugarh I have not seen any dual colours. Leave it who cares I just need to have fun. The naked price was Rs 97559 accesories Rs 460 insurance rs 1906 which included seat cover and seat net. The center stand was unavailable. He assured me he would get me one soon. Well I clocked 65 kms as of now. It was awesome. Awesome breaks spot on stopping Tyres are good better than the 220 dtsi. Till now no tyre issues. I just had awesome cornering time out here with the NS. And awesome stability which I am impressed with. Sure bro will meet u soon in jorhat.

Good luck getting the center stand after you have taken delivery in Assam, they have been giving lame excuses to a guy I know for almost a year now for not being able to get him a center stand. How much did you pay for the registration? Ex-showroom price in Assam is 93,815 rupees actually, I guess they included the amount for registration when the quoted the naked price.

Are there seat covers available for split seats without that butt stamping seams? Please post a picture of your seats. About the tires, they are not that good as you think, soon you'll understand it. Those tires tend to fishtail on wet roads while braking.

No the naked price is excluded of any registration. I will be doing the registration myself. I will get the center stand soon. Actually the dealer personnel is my brothers friend. So I need not worry. Ya split seat covers. Lame ones like you get on the pulsar 180 and 220. Though I will be returning it as it has some creases. The dealer personnel said if the creases dont go it will be replaced. By the way have u come towards Tinsukia or Digboi maybe?

Well, buddy he seems to have screwed you with price. Brother's friend, daughter's friend does not mean anything, remember, "Jisse koro pyaar, usse kabhi na karo byapaar." Registration would cost you another 4,000 to 5,000 rupees. I guess this is why people come all the way to Jorhat to buy motorcycles, especially Bajaj ones. I have been to Dibrugarh university a couple of times, but I have never been to Tinisukia. I was given the chance to compete in inter-college youth festival held in Tinisukia college but due to lack of clothes and finance, I had to drop out. I suggest you do a long ride and get the 200NS serviced at Jorhat, the one near the petrol pump in Tarajan, Jorhat named HIGHWAY BAJAJ is going Probiking soon and they know well about the 200NS. Just make sure you book the service early in advance, the center stand was in stock the last time I called them a week ago and it costs 500 something rupees (A bit higher than the MRP though) they said.

If u have connections at RTO office at here it costs half of what the dealers would. Even I did my insurance outside the dealer. No hassle for us

No the previous stock of single colour costs 96787 and the new dual costs 97599. In tinsukia and dibrigarh prices are same as I enquired . 93815 is the price quoted in Bajaj website like what I checked. And the center costs 500 bucks. Thats true. And bro yes you are true that prices in jorhat are less. But see it is around 200 kms from here at digboi. So I reach there by bus or train then take the delivery. Then another 1000 bucks on petrol. Half the petrol would finish. So almost the cost renderred to get the bike home would be preety much the same as I got in tinsukia. By the way awesome mileage I got today while riding.

150+ is difficult but not impossible & you felt good reading ? I felt even better overtaking Duke and CBR. ! xD

Nothing unbelievable in those numbers, they're pretty ordinary. (Although you can never test it on ur NS as you're gonna have to break the traffic rules xD) 150 kmph is easy on NS.. You must understand you don't reach it just like that. It takes abit of time, there should be no wind against you and simple crouch position will take u there. If everything is in your favour, your bike will be redlining in 6th gear and showing speedo around 150 kmph or so . If the wind is against u, the bike will struggle to rev up till the limit in 6th gear and stay around 130-140 kmph. This is not my vid but shows what I'm saying here. The highest speedo number I saw on my NS was infact 153-154 kmph, but for a second only. don't know if it counts.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHYvZyufr6A

Another vid where what looks like a 200NS with ffe is doing speedo indicated 157-158 kmph in Columbia, watch carefully after 0:40 second as it's difficult to the speedo.
