No idea of the cost. It should be covered under warranty i guess since it is not a wear and tear part.

I am 2500 kms on odo. Should I go for motul 7100 or some mobil fs(I dont remember the name) costing 1200? As these are the only alternatives available with ASC and I want to use something other than bajaj-dtsi.

Okay. So here is the thing. My bike got all the symptoms (engine hicupps, sudden mileage drop after 1st service, unstable idle, etc) that it needed a carb tuning. So, I sat down with the bike today and found that the AFR screw had only 3 turns from the leanest. With a bit of going this side and that, I set the screw at ~3.5 turns from the leanest. Took a ride after.. and, boy o' boy, the response was crisp, the engine hiccups vanished and the ride was much smoother.

Now, the question is - since I have tuned to a bit richer mix, will the FE take further hit and go down or will it remain the same or increase? Also, are 3.5 turns the optimum for 200NS? Experienced owners, pls reply.

PS: FE before 1st service: 47-49 kmpl; after 1st service: 41-42 kmpl.
                  Current ODO: 1130 km

Approx 1200 for chain/sprocket set + labour (should be around 400-500 i guess)

It was 1,209 rupees the last time I bought one. The fitting charge should not be more than 100 rupees.
                          I am back!

Cannot be. At 3 turns the engine is running lean and 3.5, suddenly all the problems disappear?
Get your carb checked by a mechanic.

Guys, I did a 130 today on my NS. The bike was feeling super stable below 120 but after that i felt that things were not as rosy as i thought it would be. I want to know how many of you have crossed the 120 kmph mark and what were your experiences relating the stability of the bike, and how do you generally cope up with wind blast.

I never felt any issues while touching that figures, in fact 120 - 130 remains my constant speed during my long rides and top speed I have touched on my bike is 134
