Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Get a proper cable installed, I guess the cable got stuck due to no lubrication. Always lubricate clutch and throttle cable. Do not ruin your 200NS by taking it to roadside mechanics, puncture is the only thing that you can get repaired outside.Originally posted by jenimu_kanna007 View PostHi...
Today i has been riding my bike to marriage function when return my bike accelerator cable is very hard at that time my bike revs to 10,500 rpm in sudden abd hit a speed of 95 i got panic and switched off the kill switch now i'm in a situation of no where to go bcoz the bajaj service center 78 km away from where i have been with the help of local mechanic i somehow changed the cable but the fitment is done only half done 6 bolt in my hand my tank is in semi open condition i drove it and reached home safely
You can not just swap headlamps, you can get the projector of P220 installed but it will require fitments. I suggest you mount two auxiliary 55watt lights to the crash guard. The NS can easily take the load and it will cost just around 1000 rupees for both lamps. Output will be better than stock P220 as you will be generating 1500x3=4500 lumen of light. Also get either Osaram Night Breaker or Phillips XtremeVision bulb installed in the headlamp, they are way better than stock 55w bulbs.Originally posted by Saravanan Murdlock View Posti have 14,000 km on my odo. i really want to swap stock lamp whether it is p220 projector r anyother angel lamp. have u tried that swapping and which would be the best for our machine? would be grateful if i get a reply.I am back!

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Hello guys finally I approached other dealer and somewhat seems to be helpful now, they suggested clutch cable and plate are fine just required some minor adjustment, and power issue was because chain o rings seemed to be damaged but not completely and they have serviced it to and asked me to try for 100 km, and someone suggested me to check spark plugs and it was correct one support plug was gone and they replaced it,
Thanks everyone for suggestions

Chain o ring repair? Are they taking all the links out and replacing the o rings inside? Sounds unbelievable.Originally posted by karthikrathnam View PostHello guys finally I approached other dealer and somewhat seems to be helpful now, they suggested clutch cable and plate are fine just required some minor adjustment, and power issue was because chain o rings seemed to be damaged but not completely and they have serviced it to and asked me to try for 100 km, and someone suggested me to check spark plugs and it was correct one support plug was gone and they replaced it,

I stuck a 1.5 by 1.5 inch folded paper with half inch thickness and I reduced the front console vibrations almost fully.Originally posted by sam_shendre View PostGuys i need help in removing my bikes front to get rid of console vibrations i have been successful in removing the side bolts but there is middle part which is stuck

Water gonna ruin this packing, you can pieces of car or bike tube as rubber grommets or the new type of Styrofoam that comes with computer or other fragile parts.Originally posted by munmayakumar View PostA bajaj service center guy gas done the same on my p220. Re: Pulsar 200 NS
I had earlier thought that it was a piece or cardboard.. but when it stayed there for long, even after repeated rains and washes, I rechecked and found that it actually was a piece of cork.Originally posted by Cleaner View PostWater gonna ruin this packing, you can pieces of car or bike tube as rubber grommets or the new type of Styrofoam that comes with computer or other fragile parts.3 Things to remember: 1.Helmet 2.Low Beam 3.Enjoy every mile

Hi, can you please post a detailed review on change of tyres. I am still on stock after 11k & planning to go for change.Originally posted by surampudijagadeesh View Postchanged my tyres to MRF (R15 v2.0) tyres. my confidence on bad roads has vastly improved. the only thing bugging me is the console sound and tight clutch.

Roots Windtone, install with a good relay. Should cost you about 6-700 rupees.Originally posted by Newrider88 View PostCan anyone suggest me a good horn ? stock is slightly better than my access 125.
EDIT: Can anybody tell me where the turn signal flasher is located in the P200NS?Last edited by Cleaner; 12-17-2013, 12:34 AM.I am back!

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Are you sure about this? Is there a separate windtone model for bikes?:what:Originally posted by Cleaner View PostRoots Windtone, install with a good relay. Should cost you about 6-700 rupees.
Using the original one would be overkill. It's very loud and sounds like a German car's horn. Doesn't suit a bike at all. Don't do it!The best things in life are dangerous: Motorcycles and Women
