this post just made me lol
are you serious? brakes are bad? hahahahaha its one of the best. even better than duke 200.
stock tyres are bad? yeah agreed but not that bad, and only in wet and muddy roads. in dry roads theyre absolutely fine.
half the people dont know shit, they just talk bad about the stock tyres and get new replacements cause people have been talking about it here.
rear brakes in no bikes have stopping power, its the front that does the job man. rear is just for support under hard braking along with engine braking.
did you ever saw a stock 1000cc bike with dual rear disc? or even bigger than 220mm?
learn to brake properly, then talk about brakes. brakes are one of the best things in ns. youre doing it wrong

Your style of braking is inappropriate & thats what making you feel braking is bad.
Rear brake is also there for a reason. It should be used to stable the bike. You should practice on using 60% of front & 40% of rear along with Engine brake.
Quick question, during slope time, do you use clutch?

No need to say sorry its good to be cautious. And I do understand your tendency of querries, congrats for your new bike first. And dont worry about being silly and anything else. Everyone when new to something behaves same, I am and many here would be happy to answer all your querries. Read the last lines, it may help you.

Brother if you dont mind can I request you to not to behave like this, he is new to the forum. No one is here to have such an experience, you could have told the things in mannered way as well or could have kept silent.

@all I really feel bad when someone bashes others for having some or other shortcomings, let whatever be the reason. Pls for god's sake dont make anyone feel bad for their shortcomings.

Faced same, tried many times but for no good, but accidently once tried to set before starting the bike. And as far as I remember it worked this way.
Try doing it without starting the bike. Just have engine kill switch in on position. It may work as it worked for me.

PS: Pls neglect spelling mistakes. Finding it difficult to correct from mobile.

A friend my mine who has been ripping his blike touched 156 then the engine overheated and got cut off. After 10 min he was able to bring the bike back to life but there was lot of tappet noise.
Svc says the bore packing has to be changed but some parts are not in stocking.
          What is bore packing ?
What is the turn around time for parts of 200n.
Bike is in svc -popular Bajaj, outer ring road Bangalore since last one week.

I don't know about that part but if you are looking for spares then call Khivraj Motors, Kasturba road immediately. They are the major player in Bajaj spare parts.

No I don't use clutch while coming down a slope . Unless i want to change gear to engine brake or when rpm falls to shift gears . Yea and i pretty much use front 75 rear 25.

For Dry roads, they are absolutely fine? Are you crazy? Have you tried braking with stock tyres on an r15 or duke.
You are in the half who dun know there s***.
People change their NS tyres because they feel the need for it. They dun want to end up skidding on a highway and come home with a dozen broken bones. And more or less this communtiy is for these kinds of discussions so with all due respect, please watch what you write.

                        P. S.-I don't think you own a NS, do you?

Then I don't know why braking is bad on your bike. Kindly try some other NS just to make sure.
