Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Check your chain tightness and it's lubrication level. If that doesn't help wait for an expert to replyOriginally posted by karthikrathnam View PostAround few weeks back only I did changed with motul 7100, but I am facing this problem before that itself which I even told sc people while changing oil also but they doesn't seems to be paying any head

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Where did you get the rubber grommets from?Originally posted by Aniket6626 View PostSvc guys are not gonna help you with the console vibes. I felt the vibes of console on my bike as well, so what I did was, i installed rubber gourmets between evry single bolt on the headlamp assembly.
Now those vibes have totally vanished
That headlamp assembly of the ns is an headache to almost every alternate owner, so do a DIY job or just learn to ignore them.
If you wanna do it, do it by first deassembling the headlamp assembly and install gourmets on every bolt.
Thank you.

Check your clutch Plate...
17k+ done and it should have done its best.. Also check for Sprocket too..
Replace your chain sprocket and also your spark plugs.. 10k is life of champion plugs...

In the 1st pic, do remove the 10mm bolt holding a small plastic plate...Originally posted by Aniket6626 View PostSvc guys are not gonna help you with the console vibes. Here are some images of ns without headlamp assembly.

its of no use...
Remove that Place and put the bolt back in...
Also double sided tape is also an alternative cheap solution for rubber grommets

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Hey guys am having a problem with my bike recently
The throttle response is low suddenly
When I ride around 30-35kmph and I release the throttle the bike suddenly starts breaking like the brakes are applied. This should not happen before. Also when I press the clutch, the bike speed decreases slowly. But with clutch depressed it breaks very fast :/
And also I've found flat spots specially after 7-8k rpm.
I thought it would be Cause am running lean. But I turned the afr Screw too. But same result.
My bike has done 5200kms
Sprockets are completely fine. I've changed oil around 4300kms.
What could the problem be? Please help me guys. Cause I don't even feel like riding cause of this problem

Dont tune afr screw unless you know what you are doing...
Take it to SVC and ask them to check CO LVL and adjust AFR screw accordingly.. Same issue i had, all issue was solved by doing a Perfect carb Tune...
Check Chain Tension... If its Tight, you will exp the prob wen clutch is applied or throttle is let down...

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
How much you tune the AFR screw, its only applicable till 1-4k rpm range. After that main jet comes into play.I think deceleration is quite common and is not an issue.Just in case, adjust the clutch play.Originally posted by mutatedknutz View PostHey guys am having a problem with my bike recently

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Check if your tires are rotating freely. Check if any of them are jammed slightly, for example the rear break rotor is hugging tight to the pads by default.Originally posted by mutatedknutz View PostHey guys am having a problem with my bike recently

Check if fueling is perfect, ie no over flow due to an air filter blockage or no blocked carb.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Got a cbr250r yesterday. the NS is more flickable in city and comfy in traffic. cbr was very much home on highways. now need to arrange for a place to securely store the bikes. at present all stay outside. there is a very bad neighbour's dog which wants to tear off any cover i put on my bikes.BreaklessBiker

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Hey guys thanks for your replies. Went to the service centre. He tuned the engine and now it's back to normal. So happy to ride now. Till today morning I used to hate riding in that condition.
And yeah I even got royal Enfield continental gt test drive today. Bike feels good. But long waiting period 6-8 months and priced at 2.14 lakh.

Both the selection are Good...Originally posted by jenimu_kanna007 View PostI'm like change my tyres for rear and front i have two options
1)mrf 100/80 fx or michelin 100/80 pilot sport front
2) michellin street radial 130/70 or mrf 130/70 rear
but Michelin is kinda 2k more than Mrf
Am sticking to MRF as its quite cheap these days..

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Hey guys as mentioned earlier my bikes flat spots range has been fixed. But de acceleration is a problem. Like my local mechanic says it always happens in 1, 2, 3 gears.
But I used to not experience de acceleration like this. I feel that am applying brakes. I've checked the chain. It's not tight at all. Plus checked disc once while riding with only front brake and once when riding with only rear.
Can you'll tell me what's the problem? 5200kms done.
