If anybody looking to buy.. I spotted one of the last Yellow 200NS at Suman Bajaj Noida branch, could be even more of them in the goddown. I went there to check out the new dual tone colored NS but didn't find it there.

Make it a point , not to accept display bikes. It is the bike that might have been climbed upon, messed with and thrashed upon by svc mechs and new kids and who knows what all stunts.
So, keep away from display bikes.
Cheers

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Sir I meant there is one in inventory, actually that showroom is not big, they hold lots of discovers, a few pulsar s and only two NS, no TD IS provided, when I went to buy a ns, ThEY only had a blue piece, although I will suggest anyone looking to buy a yellow or single coloured ns, to rush/hurry to nearest showroom, find one before it's too late.Originally posted by krish2778 View PostMake it a point , not to accept display bikes. Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Yes, I understand. And no need for them to give a TD, i you sepnd long enough time in the svc , you will find that the workers / new learner boys have their share of fun on each bike that rolls out of the showroom, be it a td bike or a customers bike. It makes no difference, but they are usually more careful with the bikes they have to sell, because it can be bite them back if they are not careful.Originally posted by Anuj_Gupta View PostSir I meant there is one in inventory, actually that showroom is not big, they hold lots of discovers, a few pulsar s and only two NS, no TD IS provided, when I went to buy a ns, ThEY only had a blue piece, although I will suggest anyone looking to buy a yellow or single coloured ns, to rush/hurry to nearest showroom, find one before it's too late.

But the display bike it is not the case. That is a bike which is left totally unattended for apart from keeping it clean and all.
So , i was just strongly advising anyone form going into getting a display bike. Instead, you could always order the body panels of the yellow color. And since all the body parts are fiber, it shouldn't be that costly either.

And I know the body panels can easily be swapped in 200NS as it's all fiber that costs around Rs 5k-6k total. But wouldn't they discontinue manfacturing them seperately since they've stopped the production of single tone colors including mustard yellow. May be it is possible.. who knows. Atleast the cherry black version will always be there.
Atleast P220 can be bought in any color at my place. The service center I visit, Suman Bajaj at Noida, sells P220 in custom colors.. any color you can order. Gold, Ninja green, any color. And the paint finish is also great. Costs a few more bucks only. I spotted one P220 in Ninja green some time back, looks really cool.

No need to apologize buddy, just stating some facts here.Originally posted by Anuj_Gupta View PostThank you sir for improving my knowledge ,I'm just a noob In these things (20,ns is first vehicle which I own exclusively) so if I said anything wrong ,apologies.

Yes, but actually the manufactures are entitled to provide all spare parts of a bike for a period of years even after production has stopped. And in this case, it is just a color code we are talking about. If you have the color code of the mustard yellow then you can replicate the color easily from any paint shops where they mix colors using machines. Any good paint shop guys will be able to assist you on this.Originally posted by broken87 View Postyea correctly said about it all

But then again, the color of a bike shouldn't stop you from getting it, if it is a good bike, settle for the next fav color according to the person. If it is still a great criteria to be satisfied, like i said, repainting/panels swapping is always a open method to go about.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
If we change change the color, won't it be a problem with RTOs as the color is mentioned in RC. The color of the NS means a huge thing to me, if it was not for an incident, I would not go through extreme hardship to get a bike. I can't post it here openly but the mustard yellow color means a lot more than just a color to me, I'm ready to pay 5k rupees more for the mustard yellow version if I have to.I am back!

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Guys this is my 3rd day of 200ns ownership but im facing an issue. I dont know whether it is a general issue or specific to me coz its my first bike nd I don't hav much experience in biking. The problem is that wen I on the engine for first time in a single day bike do not respond properly like i hav to press the ignition button twice thrice to start it doesn't start in a single go. The other issue is my idle rpm is 1000 is that normal?.. nd engine automatically turn off wen I leave it running for 10-20 seconds... wen I rev quickly engine turns off.. and last but not least I found pick up a bit sluggish as I hav rode other pulsars of my friends but they seem to b quick compared to mine... im asking al this coz I hav no experience of a brand new bike... this could be a normal thing for others or it could be a genuine issue... plzz guide in this matter

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
If you want yellow so badly, just change the fibre parts to yellow and inform the RTO.. They will change it in RC book and you wont have any problems. Surely parts will be available even if it is discontinued.Originally posted by Cleaner View PostIf we change change the color, won't it be a problem with RTOs as the color is mentioned in RC. Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Guys got a question, I checked my Oil level and color today. These are the results. Oil appears ok but the color is green ? oOooOo. It's Motul 5100 that was poured in about 1300 kms back. Bike runs well.. no major issues. Only gear shifting aren't as smooth as I'd expect. I rip the crap out of my machine though. Your thoughts ? When my bike was serviced 1300 kms back the mechanic just poured too much coolant and said it's fine. Excess coolant will won't be a problem. This is current level of coolant.. been like this since last service. What should I do ? Is it coolant in the oil chamber which has made the oil look green ?

congrats man, cherry black <3Originally posted by maninderz View Posthello guys .

Abhay, I'd suggest that you go to the nearest Bajaj Service Centre and get the spark plugs checked. This had happened to a friend of mine, and one of the spark plugs wasn't functioning. So just get this checked upon, and as per the idling rpm, early mornings the idling rpm usually hovers over the range of 1k - 1.2k rpm. So I'd recommend going to the svc and get the spark plugs checked
