Get an Amaron 8Ah battery, should cost around 1500 rupees.

Since that didnt work, you can also open up most visible bolts and fit double sided tapes like dampeners. Check the pic attached. I had done the same for the side panels.

For the console again, i had forgotten to mention in the diy that the part vibrating in one bike might be different from the other. Ironically, some 5000 kms after i posted the diy, it didnt work for me either so recently i folded a piece of cardboard few times and stuck in in the place shown in the pic and magically, vibes=0 !!

Guys anyone in this forum who can advice me if the rear suspension setting was made softer. i found the following information where as seen the rear suspension is at setting 2. Please suggest if the rear suspension is moved to softer setting will the bumpiness in the ride come down. thanks for the advice in advance.

Hazard lights those which constant flashes, you need to have a switch costs around 20 and then short circuit the indicator wiring either from the console or from the battery part below seat. The switch when activated will work only when indicator switch of ns is pressed either left or right. Then both indicators will flash. If the custom switch is off, indicators will work in normal way. It costed me 50 bucks for this setup, I placed the switch inside left faring hidden. Will post pic when I'll get out.right now it's freezing to death in Delhi.

Hey guys, I've done 11k kms on the bike in a year now and I've had a fair share of crashes from the front wheel locking up under hard breaking. The front end just looses traction when I depress the front brake too hard. Anybody else having this issue and how do I resolve this?
I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

guys my bike has covered 2150km on odo and i have taken it to 122kmph in 4 gear..today i reached at 130 in 6 gear@9000rpm...
during run-in it used to give me mileage of 48...under speed 50kmph.
the acceleration after 8000rpm is mind blowing.
it is stable upto 120kmph after that the wind blast is very much...

bought the new dual tone blue on black...
describing the beast in one word; "it looks awesome". P.s. i'm the first owner of dual tone ns in Nepal they said ..
i m still on my run in and i try as far as possible to keep the revs down and shift @ around 4000 rpm but when i look at the tacho i am doing around 5000 clicks per min. (but not more than that). am i harming the engine in any way ? p.s. i vary my revs but yet not going past the limit of 4k to 5k.. does varying means that u should take it to more than 4k to 5k revs per min ?? and the manual suggests that the shifting must be done in 1st gear at speeds as low as 10 kmph but at that is not practical in real world sense (and it happens at around 15 or 16 kmph) !! is it okay ??

                          first of all .........
1.whenever u start the bike keep it ideal for 1-2 minutes .if u r facing cold start issue than apply chock and then start the bike and keep if for 15 seconds this will solve all the issues regarding starting problem..
2.in the first 1000 km keep the speed under 50kmph(this is very hard to do).
3.shift all the gears under 4000rpm.
                          4.get serviced u r bike under 500km.
                          5.keep speed under 60kmph(1001-2000km)
6.than slowly start opening a bit....increase u r shifting pattern because this bike has 80 % ktm duke engine and it loves to be rev hard and it becomes smooth at higher rpm...

my bike has completed run-in and now it is 2150km old and i have acheived 123kmph speed in 4 gear full throttle ...still to test the remaining 2 gears to know the top end of the vehicle otherwise it is very dangerous in india to go beyond 120kmph ..

Guys I'm in Delhi where morning temp is as low as in single digits. I don't drive more than 20 km per week nowadays (from past month) ,but surprisingly, I've never used choke on my ns (haven't touched the button, only know that it's inside left part somewhere) but my bike comes to life in just max 3 sec of self start ignition even the r15 needs 2-3 clicks but ns starts in one crank. I wonder why.

I'm Going for 2nd Free Service tomorrow.
                              Its earlier than scheduled.
2.6k km on odo, engine is very harsh, from last 750kms its returning only 25kmpl mileage.
As per manual the 2nd free service should be availed 4.5k to 5k km, but one of the service engineer suggested to go for 2nd service saying its ok.

Please help me with your suggestions to following questions:
Is it fine to go for 2nd service earlier than scheduled?
Is it better to stick with Bajaj recommended engine oil or change to others?
