Motul 300v is an awesome oil an has good reviews all over.
But they are charging more for the oil at Rs. 1000/L. It retails for some Rs. 850-900/L. I bought this oil for Rs.850 2 months back. You should check with others.
As for mixing, unless an emergency, it should be avoided. And its the oil have same grades, they could be.mixed.

Ride safe and have fun.

I'm not able to, don't know why but the app isn't responding when try to upload photo.
But the rim tapes are costlier there, they were asking 120 ₹ for the same tape which is available here for 60₹. And quality isn't what I needed. Btw, these 50₹ tapes are like try it thing and 50₹ isn't a big deal.
So I will suggest get it from your area, rim tapes isn't good in karol bagh. ..

I am unable to find any dealers for Hyderabad stocking Motul Engine oil, Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Moreover they are charging RS 250 for the Oil Filter and 300 for the rear disk Pads. I am unsure if these are correct prices and the estimation given for my bike SVC is around 3000 ( Incl RS 2000 for the Motul 300V).

Please give your valuable suggestion
What the phack. ..oil filter for 250₹, are you serious, it's MRP is 74₹, and is same all over the India.
Don't go for 300v, it is not worth the money,
Try your 7100, find it, you can also get it yourself and ask svc to pour it, as you're paying for the service, and if they scare you by warranty sht, tell them you don't care, as if nothing has happened in your bike till now, there aren't any chances of anything happening in another 6 months of warranty .
Rear disc pads sorry don't have any idea about costs, but as they are asking 3 Times price of a oil filter, chances are they will be looting you in pads too. ..

Thanks so much nadz11.ns and Anuj_Gupta

I was wondering the same and will inquire abt the disk pads and oil filter rates, This is Pro-biking SVC , they were the one who suggested I go with 7100 in my last svc, but the issue is I am unable to find the motul dealers in Hyderabad. even checked the facebook page for motul dealers which was recently posted , Hyderabad is not listed on that page.

Anyone in Xbhp from Hyderabad, knows where we can buy Motul oil or can anyone point me to Motul oil dealers in Hyderabad.

Can any member please re-post the the price list for common parts for NS 200 or point me to the page, tried searching the thread, unable to find the price list

Guy's when bike is ridden hard, a strong sharp smell comes out if engine area, same happens with r15v2 . Is this because my bikes haven't clocked more than 2500kms. .?
Also is there a problem going on with xbhp regarding uploading photos. ..? I can't upload and many other guys are also facing similar problem. .

Are you always pouring 1400 ml of oil. Isn't it mentioned as 1200 ml in owners manual.

And oil filter costs rs 74 (mrp), here in surat they sell at rs 80. 250 is daylight robbery.

Hey guys, what are your thoughts on 'Hard engine break-in' ?
I'm sure many of you know M13(on YouTube), I was just going through his videos and came across a break-in video and he contradicts everything I thought was right.
Here's the video.
New Engine Break-In - MUST SEE - YouTube

How did you people break-in your engine and how satisfied are you with the state of your engine now?

P.S here is how I'm breaking-in my new bike.
Shifts between 3.5k - 4.5k rpm.
I'm trying to go through all the gears as much as possible.
100% city riding.
Some short bursts where I take the bike to 7-8K (once in about 10 kms, not more than 100 mts).
I allow the bike to cool down after about 30-45 mins of riding.
I'm not looking at the speed, just keeping the RPM in check.

This is how I usually ride(for the most part) so just enjoying the ride and not thinking too hard.
Wanted to change the engine oil at 250, but the mechanics at the svc are saying that I should get it changed during 1'st service (500km).

ODO reading 240 km.
Mileage =no idea.
Problems I'm facing right now = Sometimes it won't shift from 4'th to 3'rd, I've to go to 5 then downshift to 3 or lower...and some minor sounds here and there (nothing that can't be ignored).

Am I doing it right or should I change some things?

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Sharad. Yeah those guys are trying to push the 300V to everyone. They charge more than the regular svc too. My first free service done there cost me close to 1000 bucks for the Bajaj dtsi oil and the oil filter but the second free service done at MGB erragadda ( from where I bought the bike cost me only 660 including the oil filter. That being said the mechanics at the probiking centre are good where as those at the regular svc's are useless ( useless is actually too kind a word for them). Read my earlier post's for a hilarious conversation I had with them. Now as for Motul dealers in Hyderabad I believe there are several shops in the Ranigunj area that stock Motul products.

What's so confusing in the statement? I had clearly written 74 as mrp (maximum retail price), which does mean inclusive of all taxes, and they charge 80. ( I did not argue with them for 6 rs, otherwise they would have given some irritating idiotic excuses)
