Carb/ afr setting is like 3.5-4 turns.

IMO finding the ideal carb setting is a hit and try method. You should set your rpm at 1500 rpm.
Someone in this thread previously said, that the best afr setting is, when you get a power burst at 6-7 k rpm. Unable to find that post.

I learned carb tuning from my classic350 but in p200ns i am confussed where is afr is rich or lean. The genral term says the ideal afr mixture at where when you bike rpm reaches max rpm.
Try in you Ns full tight your carb and start your bike bike taking hiccups while giving throttle but when throttle released bike stalled it means runing rich mixture but why every body say tight means lean..

Correct me guru if i am wrong.

This thread has become so boring now, nothing exciting.. also filled with repetitive discussions and queries.

            Hi Friends,

Can somebody advice a best mechanic/svc in HYD for 200NS, I am quite fed up with Deccan Bajaj guys. None there is professional enough to tune-up bike properly on a general servicing. They simply wash it half way & are making the money.

I am need of one good mech who can bring back to power to its maximum.

Does changing just the front tyre aid in braking ?? (as i mostly use front brakes).
I have seen other mentioning about the braking efficiency by changing the rear tyre, but how about just the front tyre change ..has anyone done that and noticed any difference ?
Had a hard time driving in rain , front brakes were not effective at all in rain

The front tyre in a bike is far more important with refrence to brsking in street bijes since the ideal ratio would be 70:30 front:rear braking.
Of course its very important. If you are running on stock tvs craps in the front change them asap. You will feel a huge bump in braking confidence.
Also for the rainy season rub the pads with a fine grit sand paper and reinstall them it will bite harder, also lube all pistons and joints with copper grease while your at it since rain has a tendency to jam and lock up everything. Also dont repeat this sanding all year round since your discs will wear out a wee bit faster and the pads will thin out faster too. But dont worry the sanding efeect dosent last long.
I have heard ypu can buy ceramic pads for rouser 200ns (p200ns in Indonesia) online and they bite better than rtr brakes. Cheers!

Got disc straightened for 250₹, but now my hooligan days are over, papa has given an ultimatum that one minor accident and bike is going to get sold for whatever price it may fetch, so now, I'll be just a regular splendor kinda guy.

Hey don't call yourself a splendor guy. Nobody would gives you a look if you are riding a splendor, but when riding NS even if you are riding sanely, the world surely looks at you (atleast this happens with me).
This can also be because there are still less NS on the streets (dont know why).

                        Carb tuning isn't done correctly.

If you do 80 at 6 gear, then it's 5.5-6 k band, and its due to idle setting done incorrectly, not afr, I've had this problem, bit co level of 7 is enormous, get it under 3 ASAP.

I am looking for normal bosch or ngk..

Replace them with bosch or NGK R plugs and make sure to get plugs of the same type as the original
The main plug and the slave plugs are different
Refer to the user manual about type of spark plug
Any brand will do as long as they have the correct serial no.

Front tyre and wheel is most important as the control of the bike is dependent on the front wheel entirely
If your back wheel slips and the back slides out its not a problem, you can still stear the bike back on track but if your front wheel skids your done for
Front wheel bearings shouldnt have any play, front tyre should have good grip and front fork should be straight. Thats why when you bang a bike head first It'll never be the same again handling wise
