Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I had severe hard clutch which gave me lot of pain. Finally at svc they loosen it which didn't help. Later got half clutch to save my hand from damage.Originally posted by denverrodricks View Post

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hi Friends
I got my bike pressure-washed yesterday & suddenly all the coolant got drained. Unable to rectify whether any hole got created in radiator grill. I am using bike without any coolant since yesterday.
a) Will it affect bike's performance in such scenario ?
b) How much cost will it incur to replace radiator grill, my bike is 1 yr & 10 months old and I guess this replacement cost will be included in warranty ?
c) Can anybody suggest a good mech in HYD as my bike is in need of a good performance tuning since long time ?
Looking forward for your favorable response.
You must be the change you wish to see in the world

Radiator grill is metal. Probability of a hole being created is close to 0. Please check if the rubber hose carrying the fluid has come off.Originally posted by thunderbird_m6 View PostHi Friends

Do not run the bike without coolant, you will screw your engine. And it wont come under warranty for external damage.

Mine is in between max and min level. You should top it upOriginally posted by abhiwltya View PostFriends,What is the coolant level in your bikes? Minr is very close, almost touching the min level when I keep the bike vertical. Is it ok?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Does this indicate valve cover gasket failure or piston ring failure? Image is of the LH spark plug (stock) and electrodes look white due to camera flash so it's not running lean. Also no smoke found from the exhaust, no power loss, no drop in fuel efficiency. Someone please help! I have sleepless nights over this!

Hey folks, I just found this video for lubing the chain of the NS.
Just wanted to ask, is it complete or we also need to do something else?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
i dont think it is valve cover gasket, coz if valve cover gasket leaks, it leaks engine oil out of engine, and you can see oil on engine outside surface.Originally posted by Aditya N Bharadwaj View PostDoes this indicate valve cover gasket failure or piston ring failure? are you sure it is LH spark plug, coz i too have a similar problem of oil leaking into RH spark plug.
second thing, is it oil or coolant..? or a mix of oil and coolant.

Buddy, where do you stay?Originally posted by broken87 View PostClutch sure is hard in 200NS, but it gives the rider pain when he isn't used to it and doesn't use the right technique for riding in any given scenario.
Try riding in mumbai traffic
There is no pain what so ever riding on a road with medium traffic but in a traffic jam where i have to hold the clutch for long time then I find this to be a problem

Its obvious its left side spark plug coz i removed it from the left side man. If it were coolant i'd find a different color. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
My NS is still leaking oil above right Spark plug near to that black round rubber seal. I went twice at pro biking to solve this but still leaking. Never checked the spark plug. Don't know what to do now. Will it create any problem if I continue to ride it without thinking much about this leak?Originally posted by princesirohi View Posti dont think it is valve cover gasket, coz if valve cover gasket leaks, it leaks engine oil out of engine, and you can see oil on engine outside surface.

Try another efficient svc, it's just all plain nonsense mechanics.Originally posted by Himanshu Patel View PostMy NS is still leaking oil above right Spark plug near to that black round rubber seal. And guys skipped my third service, changed to motul 3100 gold, and FYI, 3100 gold doesn't holds up more than 2000kms, but my 6 months usage is 2000kms, so in my case, 3100 is better than 5100 or 7100, hence will be using mineral oil for lifetime. (5-7 More years in this case) ,till bigger thing comes under my ass

Sure bro. And try Motul 7100 once, you may forget 3100. I am using it in my bike since 1000 kms and 6-8k rpm range is lot smooth now. As you always ride within thatOriginally posted by Anuj_Gupta View PostTry another efficient svc, it's just all plain nonsense mechanics.

as far as i know oil from left side spark plug may be a serious issue, get it checked by good mechanic.Originally posted by Aditya N Bharadwaj View PostIts obvious its left side spark plug coz i removed it from the left side man. change the cylinder head cover gasket and the problem will be solved or reduced to a greater extent.Originally posted by Himanshu Patel View PostMy NS is still leaking oil above right Spark plug near to that black round rubber seal.
