Most hilarious thing I ever heard, radiator works after third service. .? Hahhshahahahahahahhahahaha.
Note in the end I'll tell how radiator actually works. Look down.

Dtsi isn't made for high revving bikes, reason why they use it in premium bikes is to make profit, they don't care how customer suffers. Cooling fan doesn't works like that. read down.

Fan never works at speeds of 70/80 as air itself is doing the job.

Why would you idle for 20 min. .?
Many people are literally confused about radiator fan working. LET me.clear some doubts.
1.What is oil cooled engine. .?
It is a type of engine in which most part of engine block, is covered with a hollow passage through which a liquid having antifreezing and high thermal conductivity, flows through it. Ahead a fan lies.
2. How does it works. .?
Radiator(aka Cooling fan) is placed ahead of engine block and covers the vents at that point from which coolant recirculates.now what happens is, engine gets heated while working, coolant is in surrounding, so coolant takes most part of that heat from engine, while circulating around it.now coolant needs to be cool down(Heheh) ,so a fins system (max surface area, max cooling) is placed at a point where it is recirculates. Now, Mostly natural air blowing while you ride at high speeds is enough to cool the coolant down, but when air isn't available in required quantity or you're in a environment that is blocking front air flow, THERMOSTAT COMES INTO PLAY .its a device that senses the temp level of coolant and kicks the radiator when coolant isn't getting cool down/reaches a high temperature at which it shouldn't be. Now, How quickly fan works depend on this little thing, as the. Lower temp at which its threshold value(temp at which it kicks fan) is set, more likely it'll turn fan frequently. R15 fan kicks in more frequently than ns, as its thermostat temp value is lower (Google it, run those mind horses) .
3.Why fan didn't worked when I did 130km/hr non stop for 4hours. .?
Told above, natural air flow is ambient (in our case) to cool down the coolant temp.
4.I think my fan isn't working as I was at a place, riding like in situations where it should 've definitely worked. .
First of all, check the thermostat, Mayne it's gone kaput and hence not sending signal to fan to kick in or maybe it's just your state of mind.
5. My fan worked only once in 5000,10000kms or 6 months. .why so. .? ,
Maybe you live in a cold surrounding, maybe you don't ride in a hectic place (like chandni chowk of Delhi, India) maybe you're relay is gone. But in most 99.9% ,it's first two reasons.
6. My fan never/ very low works, help me, I thing something wrong with my bike. .
Nothung is wrong, healthy running of your bike doesn't depend on constant running of fan. Why so, I think above faq would've solved that query.
Sorry for any mistake, if I've done and ask any further more queries upon fan if left. I think it summons up all radiator questions.

P.S you should have opted for motul 3100 gold 20w50 rather than 5100 at such low kms on the odo man.. no worries the next oil change will vanish this issue for sure Cooling fan works if you are stuck in a terrible traffic jam .. like when you are constantly in 1st pulling your clutch , going nowhere and moving 10 metres after 2 minutes and loop.. thats when it worked for me at around 1600 kms on the odo.. haha that word by svc guy is totally hilarious ..
Thats why i prefer to go to Teku SVC.They sound sensible.I read a review from this page that after run in period semi-synthetic can be use so thats why used Motul 5100 peace of mind.

But you cant see your bike being serviced and have discussion with the mechanic at teku.. so you cant reassure that the whole process is being done seriously or not
Btw its at kupondole isnt it ?

Today I was hit by another bike while taking a turn and we fell down..

I made a quick check after the ladayi and everything looked fine. The handle and the leg guard have hit the road I thought..

But when the bike is running I can hear some metal rubbing sound like 'bleeep' and it's occurring periodically when moving. I assume it's something related to wheel. And checked the bike once again after reaching home and I found that the rear brake pedal was bent a little and the front wheel nut, rear chain adjuster also have touched the ground when we fell..

What could've gone wrong

Elections are going on here today and tomorrow it's holiday for SVC so I've to wait till they reopen. This sound is intimidating and scaring me.
I'm scared to take the bike out now.

BTW It's 1100km on odo now, (just in case if it's related to query)

but I don't think it's leg guard. The sound is periodical.

Like I'm moving in a straight line and if I get the sound when I'm at X, if I move back and come forward again, I hear the sound at X again..

It's getting louder sometimes and low but always there when I'm moving the bike.

It disappeared when I crossed 30kmph (may be i couldn't hear it) and I can hear it again when the bike is slow. So I feel it must be something with wheel..

Now coming to the bike part ...its very difficult to say anything without inspection but il give you a few ideas
Put the bike on side stand nd bend the bike towards you so that the rear wheel comes up. Ask someone to spinn it in neutral, if it dosent spinn freely or the noise comes then you know where its from
If its not from the rear wheel then its the front
Check if front mudguard is bend or mis aligned it may be rubbing the wheel
Chain tensioner or something bent may be rubbing against the chain or wheel
Sound disappearing aftern30kmph is because ....when you are increasing speed the parts rubbing are hitting with a higher force and hence they are moving away from each other after collision faster and one is warping
This suggests that one of the rubbing parts is softer like fiber, plastic or rubber.
Hope it helps.
Would be easier if you had a main stand.

I'll check the rear now but the sound as not much audible to pillion.. So I guess it's not the rear and AFAIK the bike took the hit on the frame.. Right on or/and above that tiny chain cover.

Another explanation for the sound disappearance could be also be due to increase in frequency and it might've got into a continuous tone that's not audible due to engine sound. Which also points to the same thing.. It's from some thing that's moving.

Can I get the bike checked by mechanics outside? I was a little skeptical about their knowledge about NS but if it's a chain problem, I guess they might know something, but I'm little too scared to take it to mechanics outside and the sound is scaring me more than that..

Check discs bending, then check whether any tyre part is touching any else part while rotation, though 90% it's discs that making noise. Check handle bar for bends and replace it if anything funny suspected (350₹ approx) check leg guard too, even if you find no cracks but deep marks then change it as it must've absorbed a lot amount of force during impact and Mau have developed internal cracks while so, don't go for straightening, hammering leg guard, it costs only 110₹.

And yes just ask a mech to find out where the noise is coming from.
Another top tip
Walk the bike like a cycle on a straight calm road and try to hear the source of the noise. Once you know where its coming from put under bright lights and inspect it.
I think its either a mud guard, bent chain cover maybe more.

Will get the discs checked too.. Thanks for the tip Anuj_Gupta

Guys it's the front disc brake.. And the sound was disappearing randomly when I'm applying brakes.. Drove around 15km without applying front brake to confirm and yes it was hot..

Similar to wearing problem during run in just a little louder than that..
I think it's better to let the SVC guys handle it.. Will visit them tomorrow..

All this radiator knowledge thanks to my industrial training in Delphi.
And guys, today tried different petrol pump (previously used Hp, this time went for BP) And what the f##%@ ,bike felt like 3-4 bhp was increased, earlier my bike never used to go beyond 130(weight being 82 not fat, I can Do 1 km in 5min, but my bone density and mass concentrate is very high) ,this time, in just less than 500m stretch, I touched 138 with throttle still left to roll fully and rpm still not redlining at its full. Man, had a blast in morning today. .!!
Wish my ns remains like this forever (until the kawa z800/ ducati 848evo comes)

EDIT- NW DELHI MEET TOMORROW (SAT) AT INDIA GATE 7PM. people with ns are welcomed to join.

Around 2 is ok, max 3.5
If your around Max, means afr rich
Didn't remember ideal co level.
Get your nuts tightened (of footrest and handle bar, they do this at every service, if you have a quality bajaj service centre)
Even then, if problem persist, try motul 3100gold 20w50 engine oil.

You'll need right Allen key.
For pillion foot rest vibes, check the nuts that hold the silver colour do it rest arms on.both sides.
For handlebars, check the connecting bar ends by taking out the plastic cover first (small rubber like) ,look.for screws yourself and tighten them.
NOTE ,TIGHT SCREWS LIGHTLY, don't over tight them, they'll break. Just apply right amount of angular force upto right amount of quantity needed.

Company recommended CO level is between 1.5%-2.5% only. so it's correct.

3.) Any other oil to switch
4.) What the time to change spark plugs and airfilter.

1.) Any horn replacemnt (i ask ASC guy he said i dont have any) and the main problem i find there is very less space to fit bigger horn.
2.) I am using bajaj oil whats the time interval to change.
3.) Any other oil to switch
4.) What the time to change spark plugs and airfilter.

1) No idea about the space.
2) If Bajaj oil is mineral, change it at 2000 kms.
3) Kindly go through the thread and you will find the option for engine oil. Especially the last 100 something pages. ( and i would also be helpful in learning about other things regarding the bike). For quick info, you can use Motul 3100 gold/ 5100 (ss oils), motul 7100 (fs oil)
4) Air-filter and spark plug should be changed after 12000 kms. (Or as mentioned in the manual)

Ride safe and have fun.
Regards
