Got my NS the much needed horns, Roots windtone, like the ones in Vw/skoda etc., Damn they are loud, makes heads turn!

Chennai guys do post in this thread if you get to know that the svc guys start fixing the tank vibes in Chennai showrooms.

Visited KLN Automobiles, Annanagar SVC For the new rubber grommets last saturday... as always.. they never knew such things existed.. so took out the pic posted by @kaydee_bangalore (Thanks a ton bro!)... Forced the spares manager to send a mail to Bajaj... Overlooked him sending it... Will keep you posted on the updates, if I get any!

I tried searching but can't find the group! Is there a name for them, like the Bangalore NakedWolves?

Guys i went for a casual solo ride to lepakshi saturday morning at 5:45am reached lepakshi by 7:40am - 138kms. Came back home by 11:10am..

Round Trip distance : 277.1kms

Roads : Awesome, you can do 110-120 all the way for the first 100kms.. last 18 kms have some patchy roads(photo attached).
While returning i did 50 kms in 27 minutes , now you can understand how smooth the roads are

Place : There is not much to do there, the bull is really huge, biggest monolithic Nandi in India, 6mtrs high and 8 mtrs long. Nandi is kept in a park surrounded by flowers, grass; i saw 2-3 types of birds there.. A nice place for photographers..

One famous temple is a must visit Virabhadra Swamy Temple. The pandit ji there saw me fully geared and asked me if i had come from bangalore. I said yes. He smiled. He was bathing the idol, asked me to wait till snan is over, gave me blessings , passed aarti and prasad. This place is a heaven for photographers , if u want to click old indian temple architecture..

Funny Incident : On my return journey a guy on CBR150R was next to me in a signal ,started making the vroom vroom sound and looked towards me, i opened my helmet visor and said : Not interested !!
THE DUDE : Why you are not interested?? Afraid of CBR ?? :P

Signal green : 3 gears redlined.. i could see him in the RVM struggling.. Next signal he again pulled up next to me , i opened my visor and said : that's why i was not interested , i don't consider CBR150R a competitor. And closed my lid..

I visited the jai bajaj showroom during the first service it was before one month back.... The mechanic dealing with the NS told me that the bajaj was on the way to sent the rubber gasket to reduce the vibration. But he didn't mention ay specific time.Will be visiting the Probiking on coming monday to know about their progress.

Did you fix both the horns or just one. Did you fix a relay. Where did you manage to fix them. Sorry about the line of questions.
I am about to buy a new set of horns or maybe a single HT horn. The stock horn is not good enough in the din of city traffic.
Could you post a few pictures. It would a lot useful for many of the members here.

Simple thing is that when you were redlining, he wasn't even hitting his power band. FYI, NS Redlines at 10000 RPM and CBR 150R at 11500 RPM, hope you got the difference

But again on a good note, it was actually good that he didn't Redline his, else it would have been a



If someone Provokes on a Highway or a Street, it's always better to stay calm & composed rather to show him the bitter pill which will not favour us all the time.

P.S No Offense to NS here, neither I'm a Fanboy of Honda. Yamaha it is for me.

Btw, a complete noob question (coming from a P150), if the guy had redlined his CBR, would it have smoked NS? I am asking because I am trying to understand engine mechanics and technology (When I was young, I was into the belief that higher cc = better speed)

Given both the bikes in good hands I would say it's a Win-Win Situation.
