Do you mind posting some pics?

Vibrations although on your seat... get it to your SVC to check for the new Rubber Grommets been given out by Bajaj to Pulsar 200NS to solve tank vibrations.. Those are Rubber grommets for the screws on the tank.. that might help!

Till which RPM range do your find the vibrations from 4k - 6k... that must be the bike resonance kicking in... happens for all bikes.... I guess... so, nothing worth worrying unless the vibrations are very bad... sporty vibrations toh ban tha hai boss...!!

If you know the SVC guys very well... Ask them to tighten all the bolts again... especially the seat area... that should solve it incase it is because of loose bolts!
I will ask for the Rubber Grommets to eliminate the minor tank vibrations. About the seat & tail section vibrations .. I can't accurately say when the vibrations kick in. One has to ride the bike at low speeds to feel the vibrations himself. But to inspect clearly I rode this bike for some time.. kept it at 2nd & 3rd gear. The seat vibrations seemed to slightly increase by time, mostly in 4k-6k rpm. After 6k rpm the bike pulls u hard & the vibrations are less... or may be it just feels less cause you're accelerating fast. Anyways, the main thing is that these seat vibrations are high enough to irritate my bum. I put my hand on the tail section when riding & I can just feel it vibrating. I am taking it back to SVC tmr morning.
One more thing.. my baby fell on the side a couple of days back.. cause a dog came right in front & I instinctively pressed the front brakes alone. The bike dead stopped (I always use the front wisely, also combine rear & front).. but at stand still I lost my balance & the bike fell on the left side. Hardly visible minor paint damage to those black thingies you have to protect your legs, some scratch to Clutch & left handle bar. That's not gonna be a problem at the SVC is it ? Also when I lifted up my bike & started it again.. It didn't turn on at first. I had to use Engine kill switch & wait a few seconds. Then it turned on & ran normally. Any ideas why ?
& here are some pics sorry but my camera is pretty bad one.

On further complaining with strong words, I was told to take my bike TO another SVC. there also they delayed the repairing for two days..At last there was No way but to threaten them of complaining to CC, or to consumer forum. That was when their bulb lighted up.
The SVC promised me to open up the bike on Monday (19th Nov). the head mechanic, and a junior mechanic were dedicated fully to my bike, from the morning. they opened up almost everything, including the cARB. He opened Up the carb and adjusted the needle, along with few other things.
Right now, am really impressed with the work of Gautam Da that day.. Bike feels super smooth, and responding instantly to the throttle. Vibes have also diminished to quite an extent..And the bike pulls in a smooth and linear motion..
He himself asked me to come today with Double sided tapes, which he placed at various positions onto the headlight fairing. Vibes diminished to a large extent due to that.

My state of ind - Seriously loving it..
I'm happy for you but am feeling sad for the state of the svcs. Hard to accept the fact that customers have to go through requesting, asking, ordering, fighting and finally threatening with complaints to consumer forums to get such a simple job done. I managed to improve most of the stuff on my bike thanks to valuable info on xbhp and not the bajaj servicemen!

        To sum it up,
        Product: 4.5/5
        Service quality: Nil
Sarcasm is my automatic response to stupidity.

theres a long list but they say its a new bike these adjustments are not required...may be if problems occur we adjust

did u watch him service your vehicle by going to the service bay??? or was there a glass window where u saw the work being done from?
how do u convince them to find ur way into the service bay?
good they replaced with motul...mine and most other members got the bajaj oil

and i had to specially ask and convince him to adjust the carb on the CO machine and they tuned it for 3.2% but upon insistence they got it to 1.5%
Sorry forgot, he did use 3M battery terminal maintenance spray. He did not use petroleum jelly.
He, however did not clean air filter but he told me he will do it for second service.
The complete time I was standing next to him conversing with him in Kannada; no glass partition I just asked him I want to watch the service and I was allowed inside.
Regarding Motul, he only suggested the oil.
Also, I told him I am having problems with idling and he tuned the carburettor completely using gas analyser.

Is this Auto Service a Bajaj inititative, is an appointment required prior to service ?

Can you post the Contact details of the Agency if you don't mind , so that I can get my first service done.

I am not too confident about the dealer I bought my bike from regarding the service.

Sorry for the array of questions buddy.
Appointment is necessary but I had a slight problem in this regard. I took an appointment yesterday but Paramashiva (mechanic) refused to service the bike in-spite of appointment. He told me to come tomorrow (today) but when I reached today, he immediately took the bike and started working. Excluding washing, he took 1.5 hours to complete the service.

            WOW

i was told a strict no when i requested to stay beside the mechanic

seems the ASC and the mechanic is too good...

yep i was told the same thing that next service air filter will be cleaned and the funniest part was when they did not tune with CO% meter i requested and they told RTO doesnt allow you to tune the carb as it will change the emission of the bike :P

also checking the carb adjusting stuff here and there valves n stuff they told isnt necessary for a new bike

i didn't change the backlight color... I am not finding a good electrician to do it... And new console price should be more or less 2k i guess @ramdante: you better use a relay brother... Windtone can screw your wiring.... I had it on my earlier bike... It consumes very high amount of current

                            • Tejas, usually they do charge oil cost for regular service, for any bikes ( not just Bajaj), as the first service they have to replace the oil.
