Which oil did u put? City Rides do cause heating, longer the duration, more it's felt. But that is pretty normal unless issues with the radiator. Get it looked to be on the safe side though.Originally posted by Arun Magus View PostProblems problems problems....
The baby screeches a lot now a days, plus a tik tik noise from the front portion. Cant really make out where it is coming from. Comparatively hard shifts, and the heat hits my legs more often. Any inputs??? 1850 on odo and last oil change at 580.
As for the screeching, if for any reason from the chain, then get the slackness checked, lubricate if necessary. Lubrication every 400-500 kms is recommended & helpful for gud performance & better life.
If from the brakes, like others mentioned, clean it off, should clear it out.Last edited by s.roy0717; 11-20-2012, 09:31 PM.Ride Fair, Ride Hard...

Guys , Have anybody seen this issue before ?
Originally posted by bluejoy View PostGuys my 200Ns is @ Odo of 250Kms, I absolutely love the machine..
Got it a week Back.
However I am facing a small issue with the bike, I can hear a whining or screeching sort of noise while the bike is running.
Its not that loud, but its audible to me while riding @ slow speeds . its a small turn off.
I took it to Service center, they were not able to 'Reproduce' the issue.
Any body else , have faced the same issue , Please let me know the what is behind this noise , so that I can get it fixed.."A bike on the road is worth two in the shed"

Oil change on 2000 as planned. Well Me too have never seen my radiator working.Originally posted by mayank.travadi View Postmay be try an oil change and check if you are running lean...i too nowadays feel heat on my left leg but when i stop to check the radiator fan isnt on...strange...
Well, I must say it has improved a lot. The tic tic noise is the one pestering me now. It is from the front part of the bike. May be the console, disc assy or the wheel/suspension. I sadly cant make it out...Originally posted by ramdante View PostIts the opposite for me, the ride feels more refined now, no more miss shifts plus overall its a lot smoother at 1600kms on the odo now.
Although there is a very feeble whistling sound coming everytime I ride for more than 20mins or so, have no idea what is causing it!? Any inputs on this guys?
Brakes do screech and I'm aware of it. But this is in an all new level. Chain is a bit dry. Is it because of that? Oil is DTSI 10000 20 W 50. Had complained abt radiator a couple of times. But the SVC guys are adamant that it wont work unless you ride long. Shouldn't it start working after 3 mins of idling?Originally posted by s.roy0717 View PostWhich oil did u put? Lubricate the chain then. The sound could be from the console or other plastic parts due to vibes. Shouldn't poise any problem to worry about, but it's annoying I know..Originally posted by Arun Magus View PostOil change on 2000 as planned. Well Me too have never seen my radiator working.

Radiator fan has a certain temperature to kick in & go off. Circulation is constant I guess, thermo-stat controlled & mapped kinda radiators are used, so common process mostly.
Svc guys won't do a thing until u fig out & tell them. But I suggest not to worry. I don't think it's a problem, new bikes with all the new parts & plastics give off that sound. I'd that kinda sound from my LS too in the beginning. But then, it either subsided, or I got used to it to notice it anymore.. :P But never found any problems arising cuz of that.
Enjoy the Ride amigo

It won't start even after 5 mins of idling after tunin period..When i had done 600km, it was starting easily in 3 mins of idling. After completing 1600km, it started after 7 mins of idling. Now 3700km, it doesnt start even after 10 mins of idling..Originally posted by Arun Magus View Post..... Shouldn't it start working after 3 mins of idling?
So, i think, bike used get heated earlier a lot due to friction in engine cylinder... So, i think its normal...

I know its not safe, he wanted to come to meet the kids.Originally posted by aargee View Post^^ ha ha ha buddy, most of bikers in India don't like to ride with helmet, it is his money... his bike...let him ride the way he want it
