Man u ceratainly r utilizing ur NS at the fullest.. Hats off.. And All the best for the IB.Originally posted by utsavchs View PostWould I get caught by the cops if I install a secondary horn with ambulance or police sound? I think its of great use if one is in traffic :P btw, planning on IBA Saddlesore on the NS200 this December.
Hav a suggestion for u - Show ur travelouge to the PM. Bass, Aur kya, mil gaya "Z" category secuity.. And coz of that the security person can also do the IB along with U..
On a serious note, if u go ahead for the IBS, be carefull, and take ll the precautions. The Roads, and infrastrure in India, are certainly not upto mark for completing a hassle free IB. (I know many have dine it with less powerful bike, but it is always with certian amount of risk)
All d Best once again..sigpicRelationships change, evolve, and it goes deep.

That's a good question...Originally posted by mayank.travadi View Postwhy not buy a high tone 220 horn and get a louder dual horn setup??
Well it depends on how you want it to sound...you could even put a four or six (and even more) horns setup, just like how some buses and trucks have.
In general you could try mixing compressed air horns with the standard ones,etc...etc...
There are various combinations that are possible, you can go ahead with any combination that would sound good to you.

Met an Accident with my NS! HELP..
Hey Guys, Unfortunately met with an accident on my Lovely NS due to an Idiot turning in front of me without Indication and got my LOVE(NS) hurted vigorously
Yes it lost its Gear Clip, Alloy Rim's alignment, Disc Tilted and Callipers too gone..Some more metallic parts broken including Footpeg and ya Right Handle Bar also got out of order acc. to Mechanic!
Just wanna ask you guys, should I also insist the Service Guy to check the Rear Wheel's Alignment and Disc or are they untouchable in a typical Accident? Do all this hurt ENGINE'S PERFORMANCE Internally! I m now hell a lot Confused regarding its NEWNESS
! Its waiting there at Bajaj Centre for Parts to Come..

Hey Guys I got my bike checked yesterday.. was having Vibrations under the seat previously. Those under seat vibrations seems to have reduced a lot now. But but now there is little something else... after my 1st service the bike was literally flying & I could hit the rev limiter in an instant. Basically the acceleration felt faster & smoother than it was since bike purchase. Was that because of some sort of Tuning in engine ??? Because after the vibration issue got rectified yesterday, the engine acceleration seems to have reverted back to what it was or near it. The bike still feels terrific. It's just noticeable that revving up the engine isn't as quick & smooth as it was after 1st service.. minus the vibrations of course. Can I get my bike tuned for optimal riding/or racing sort of tuning (if that's something is required or done) ? What good or harm will it do ?
2) Is our 200NS a rev hungry bike or is every other bike like this ? I mean I have to rev up the bike alot in order to keep up with the traffic. & If I rev too high then yes the bike just goes..
3) For the cold starts everyday as it's winter I just keep the throttle at 2-3k manually for a minute & give it a few bumps till 4krpm (if I don't hold it manually the engine struggles at 1.1/1.2rpm.. & shuts off always. After a minute of warm up I ride it slow & normally for atleast 3-5km. Am I doing everything right in this matter ?
4) What should be the idle RPM when the bike engine is hot enough. Mine seems to be 1.51/1.6 ? I'll recheck this tomorrow!
5) Why can't we ever trust the fuel indicator ? -> Because of this misleading fuel gauge I recently ran out of fuel & my bike stopped. I turned the fuel knob to 'reserve' & quickly rode to the nearest fuel station. refilled worth Rs 500. & my tank actually got full at Rs 489 only. My tank had received 6.89 liters of oil & it didn't have space for more. While 200NS has 9ltrs capacity + 3 reserve. then how come full at about 7ltrs only ? And.. since that refueling I've ridden the bike about 280km & today the fuel indicator was showing 1 unit/bar only. Seemed like my tank was about to be empty again.. so I refilled worth Rs 200. btw.. in those 280km.. 100km was done on expressway.
6) How to get rid of that whistling sort of sound that comes when applying front brakes ? I heard it's done by cleaning some part in front wheel ? or is it
I'm very novice in bike related stuff, so please any guidance & info would be appreciated. I'm also reading some of stuff in this thread for 200NS that helps too.

Everyone meets moron drivers on road everyday bro. It's not just indicators.. So many people don't even know what side of the road they should be on when taking left/right turns.

If u get it tuned from the pros, then u can get genuinely desired tuning. But it's not recommended generally as they are pre-tuned for proper mileage & performance. But some succeed to get even better than the best outta their machinesOriginally posted by broken87 View PostHey Guys I got my bike checked yesterday.. was having Vibrations under the seat previously. U don't have to worry about its revs, Just take it easy on the run-in period then carry out ur style of riding. (recommended )
It's necessary for the engine to reach an optimum temp before it can start functioning properly, so ur doing fine there.
Don't worry about the idling too much. IT's always more than the fresh start revs. For obvious reasons which I have mentioned in this thread before.
It's not alone depended on the indicator. The mileage, which fuel is been adapted properly for the best results by the bike, etc matters here too.
Try cleaning, if it still persists then ask help at the svc center. Cuz it should not persist for long in the newbies

Well firstly, it's 9.6L main and 2.4L reserve. Secondly, AFAIK, the fuel bar is designed to show all the bars till the fuel level reduces to half tank. Below that it starts dropping. Pretty much like a cell phone battery indicator. Thirdly, all pulsars' digital fuel indicators are unreliable. Anyway, be happy. You got 280 kms off 6.8L petrol. That's an excellent F.E of 41.1 km/lOriginally posted by broken87 View Post5) Why can't we ever trust the fuel indicator ? -> Because of this misleading fuel gauge I recently ran out of fuel & my bike stopped. Quoting the text in bold, did you make out there was no more room for fuel by looking at the meter?Sarcasm is my automatic response to stupidity.

I see, Thanks for sharing all that. that relieves me abit. I will ask for help from SVC for the front brake noise if I need to. One other thing came to my mind that may be it's just me who is getting used to the speed & acceleration offered by NS. The bike might be doing just as she did before. It's like riding at 75-80kph feels like nothing now where as it was quite intimidating when I began riding & lacked experience.Originally posted by s.roy0717 View PostIf u get it tuned from the pros, then u can get genuinely desired tuning. The Technician only told me that they tightened up the bolts & all the parts they could. It was done on their second attempt. This took some hours as it seems my bike was ... what do you say.. disassembled? as they do when servicing your bike. then put it all back together. only this time they didn't service it but did it only eliminate the vibrations.Originally posted by Shibadip View PostBuddy, can u tell, what was done to crease out the under seat vibrations?? I too have that!!!!!!!!
Just saying.. if previously my seat vibrations were like 100%.. they've been reduced to like.. 25%. Still there but alot lesser.

No I saw the fuel had almost reached the top of the tank mouth. had no room for more fuel it seemed. & yes i think you are right about the fuel indicator showing all bars till fuel level is half. good example of mobile battery indicator lol.Originally posted by Aditya N Bharadwaj View PostWell firstly, it's 9.6L main and 2.4L reserve.
