Because, for a fact, RTRs have the highest vibrations on any bike I have ever ridden in my life. We use it like a benchmark for high vibration.

As compared, 200NS is the bike which had the least vibration among those I have ever ridden in my entire life.

In short, the observation of the website you read the review from couldn't have been more further from the truth. Pulsar 220 is not even in the same zip-code w.r.t. vibrations as compared to the 200NS such is the lack of vibes in that bike.

Probably the RTR you rode was not properly maintained. My friend has an RTR and there are no such vibrations,it is very minimal and can be felt in the range of 58-65km/hr and that too less.
P200NS is total VFM bike.Hats off to Bajaj

I was not talking about 1 particular RTR. I am talking about RTRs of all generations here. Including the latest gen.

Don't believe me? Then go and have a *proper* Test Ride yourself.

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Proper test rideI? have rode my friend's bike extensively.I agree that there are vibrations but it's not like that like it has set a benchmark. And even the quality of the SC/mechanics also matters.

10% for each year...? Then your bike was 10 years old so 10% each year for 10 years equal to 100%.... That means you should have got it for free... Why did you get 50% then... I am getting confused...

the apache rtr series has the same ancient chassis of the first gen apache150 .. apache150 had one of the worst chassis in india at that time and then that chassis was only tweaked to make it into rtr series .. just put the rtr180 on main stand , start the bike and observe the vibes .. the whole bike vibrates like a female sex toy... the rtr doesnt even have monoshox and the swing arm too is pre-historic .. and above all that , the quality of it is comparable to tvs champ .. all my friend's rtr have rusted exhaust ...

                        • Today when i clocked 450kms on ODO, Wrench icon popped up on the console. Clicked a picture of it

Also checked with SAI SERVICE for onroad price of P200NS and its 98092/-. They have complained to BAJAJ that many dealers are selling bike for 99200/- to 106000/-. Bajaj said they would look in the matter.

YELLOW color is also available for the same price and there is no PREMIUM/ON charged by them.

Dealer said that Prices of P200NS can go up from 1st JULY 2012 as BAJAJ is planning a price hike on all its models from 1st.
