Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Guys, I bought my NS in Dec 2013, and it's about 10000kms on the odo. How long did your tyres last before you had to change them?
I know most of you have changed the Euroslips in the beginning itself but I'm asking from someone who's used the tyres.
And I'm thinking about upgrading anyway. So I've thought of Michelin Pilot Street 140/70-17 for the rear. I'm still confused about the front. Someone told me that I shouldn't upsize the front tyre because then I would have handling issues. How far is this true? If I upsize, then it'd be an easy choice because I'll just pick up the Michelin set. But if upsizing will be a problem, then I need to know which would be the best option for the front.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
1. Both Motul Motocool or Castol Radicool are good options for coolants. Both come in 1-litre packs, which happens to be the amount needed for the NS's cooling system. And they are also premixed to save you the trouble of hunting for distilled water for mixing.Originally posted by in_dutta View PostDEAR ALL,
NEED TWO HELP:
1. GRADE AND BRAND (SUGGESTION) FOR COOLING LIQUID.
2. IS CASTROL POWER-1 20W50 BETTER OPTION ?
TH
NX IN ADVANCE
2. Castrol Power-1 should be a good oil for normal everyday use, provided you can find genuine products. The market is flooded with mostly fake Castrol products so there is a good chance of you ending up with one.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
These euroslips are the worst tyres ever. I was riding on the highway in the rain and as soon as the bike reached 95 the wheels started to spin. I almost drifted. On my unicorn with p220 rear wheel and MRF tyre I've done 120 in the rain even on turns and never slipped once.

Any way, I am yet to change the tires and the worse part is these Euroslips are just not getting over. That is one of the very few qualities of them. Seeing the condition I feel they will easily cross 20k. Even I remember reading here that upsizing the front tyre might result in handling issues.
I suggest you to look to FZ v2.0's front tyre. Its the same size & many people have recommended it. Also, it would be better to post your query in Tyre section.

1. Too beautiful. Not fare on other bikes.
2. Reaches 3digits for fun.
3. Mileage of 40 & I was told before purchasing not to expect above 35
4. How can a BAJAJ bike not have false neutral problem

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
It could be the tappet.Originally posted by shek15 View PostGuys,
I'm getting metallic friction sound from within the engine(The top part). Its not loud though, it can be heard only when you're very close to engine head. Could it be the tappet? and bike is getting very harsh and vibey day by day
. The AFR is ideal and bike is running on motul 5100(replaced oil filter, too).
How long since the last service ? This is something that I was having issues with a lot of times , svc can fix it but it will soon return.
So, you kinda get used to it.

If risen inside city the handle bar change will make it more easier .Originally posted by Saravanan Murdlock View PostHas anyone tried single piece handle bar on our NS? Like fz-s/duke 200.
1. Will it increase handling?
2. How much does it costs?
And it gets damaged easily than clip ons so for every small fall you have to replace it.
Stock NS bar is better than other bar .

The bike currently 2100kms old and Its been 1400kms since the last service. But Isn't it a bit early for tappet problems? Btw I'm experiencing crazy vibes all over the bike, in rear seat tooOriginally posted by pv1984 View PostIt could be the tappet.

. Tuning carb didn't help much.
60 front and 40 rear bro. As the bike is quite new, not yet changed the break pads.
P.s-I hear some krrrr(not annoyingly loud) sound when i hold the front breaks.
