My bike is 4 months old and I managed to run 4200 km.. so 2nd service done approx at the right time..
That's exactly what I am going to do. In fact, I will get it serviced tomorrow itself.

      Hello Jenimu,
I am using Osram Night breaker for the past 3 months. It will not drain the battery as the specs for the Osram NB and the regular bulb are the same. The NB is a direct fit, no need of any alteration. It gives a much brighter and longer beam. But the only problem is the 55/60W H4 Night Breakers come in pairs. It is not available as a single piece.

      Hello Absarkhan
I feel the same about the rear view mirrors. I have to move my head slightly to a side to get a good rear view despite adjusting the mirrors in all possible ways. If the mirrors are adjusted perfectly, the rider can get a good view with just a glance.
You could fix a blind spot mirror. It was discussed previously here.

Infact i can only see my arms on 40% of the mirror space, the rest contains everything else except a proper view of the back, i have to keep adjusting the mirror while in motion which is dangerous and unlike some daredevils i just cant ride without the rear view mirrors, i am gonna have them replaced , perhaps with the mirrors of the Hero honda Hunk, they have one of the best mirrors.

As my front brake has lost its bite i was checking the brake oil level and found out that the Rear brake oil can be seen in the brake oil reservoir as reddish in color, but the front brake oil cannot be seen, its like no oil is there or its sort of transparent.... is the same with everyone or my front brake oil is over????

strange, look through the window carefully again,do you feel reduced bite ?

switched to waxpol dot 4 brake oil lately.

            250 ml 60 bucks.
            difference is huge.
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
            #overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

yes, front brake has lost its bike, it feels like drum brake, and through that window nothing is seen, is the oil transparent in color, or same as the rear brake oil i.e reddish....???

Its supposed to be reddish if you haven't changed it to transparent (which you clearly haven't).
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

                • 2nd and 3rd free services

                  Hello friends
This is in continuation to my post regarding 2nd and 3rd free services to be done in 240 days (post #9944). The responses from other members to this are posts # 9947 and 9948.

I took my bike for the 2nd service today at Pioneer Motors Trivandrum. The bike is 4 months old and ran only for 2700 kms. I checked with them and they confirmed that the 2nd free service must be done in 120 days from the date of sale or the specified kms which ever occurs first NOT 240 days. The 3rd free service must be done in 240 days from the date of sale or the specified kms which ever occurs first.
I wanted to confirm this again with another authorised svc. So, I called up Deedi Bajaj and they too said the same.
240 days given in the 2nd free service coupon must be in fact 120 days. The svc also mentioned that their service manual says 120 days. Because of this misinformation svc gives a blind eye to the 120 day rule for the 2nd free service. But is this misinformation? Don't know!

yes, i haven't changed it, its stock and its transparent, so it means no oil is there... but then i am currently on 8k kms, so if no oil is there would disc brakes work for so long without brake oil?

DOT3 brake fluid is transparent, and if there was no brake fluid then you woudn't be having any brakes what so ever.

                            • Ugly crash alert!!

My NS has had a crash today with a A8. Shocks are bent. Rims, I am not sure. Brake pedal is bent. The crash guard is also bent. The front brake lever is broken. The amazing fact is the person riding it has saved himself with a collar bone fracture and few other injuries. (I was not riding it).

Accident location: Nagar Highway, 7 kms ahead of ranjangaon or something like that.
How it happened: The car fellow was trying to overtake from the right when he suddenly swerved completely into the the bike.

Details : The car fellow has already admitted the friend to a hospital and escaped. The rider went into a coma shortly after he was admitted. Currently in ICU. Was informed few mins back of all the details from the pillion. The rider's Studds helmet had cracked.
