Yea thats a guiness record for the NS no offence. maxx bro what did the mechanic say was wrong with the crankshaft.

All my bikes have done over a lac kms but never faced any crankshaft issues.
The only way you can destroy the NS crankshaft is by shifting to 6th gear in 30 kmph and giving full throttle, everytime. Ok kidding. Now don't think I said you are a bad rider Well, I have seen such problems before, but not heard about it in the NS so far. The culprit was the oil circulation in all the cases that I saw in other vehicles. Both cars and bikes. Bad pump, clogged circuits, filter, coolant mixing in oil etc etc.

But twice in a month is a first, bro!!

Even if 6th gear @ 30kmph ,it cant do such harm to crankshaft because the flywheel is smaller than other same displacement engine. Which in result saves the crankshaft from loading.

I think its camshaft not crankshaft.

Bar end mirrors are good ones, but it gives limited angle of vision, but gives good view of direct rear side.

That's so strange. Sorry about that.....

Like others said, major reason could be incorrect oil and improper break in.. but then you have replaced again and same issue. Do u have pic?. How does it look?. Grinded or scratches or cracked?. How much have you spent?. Did you escalate this to bajaj?.

Like somebody pointed out above, I too think it's camshaft, not crankshaft!!

Hi friends. I have been facing a small yet irritating problem since the last service. In the last service, I had them re-grease the axle bearings.
During one of my rides, I noticed that the speedo is stuck at zero. I don't think it's a speedo error. Could it be because of excess grease interfering with the speedo sensor?

Hmm, that means I need to remove the axle and remove the grease and clean the sensor assembly.

Bro sorry.. no offence meant but the mechanic must have told you something that why is the crankshaft an issue... what has gone ... on a serious note we need some more information bro apart from the tarang tarang sound from the engine. Coz the starter motor has been ruled out since it started with the new crankshaft... Btw how old is your bike ?

I am asking since you mentioned loss of compression which could also be due to a blown gasket head or rings too, not to forget any other elements involved in the combustion cycle.
