Awesome. Any pictures from the ride?

How is the comfort level on long ride?

Sorry,no pictures. The plan was to spend more time in Indore at my cousin's place and come back the same day before it was dark.Just stopped once for tea and kept on riding.
      Comfort-
*On long rides you will feel the strain on the hands and shoulders, though in no way unbearable but still its there.I tried to sit as close to the tank as I can but couldn't manage that for long.
*The engine though will feel perfectly at home even north of 110-115 kmph but overall (due to the wind blast and what not) a sense of nervousness creeps in. (May be other members can throw more light at this with their experience!) But I am sure to take into account the situation of panic braking, speeds more than 120 kmph ain't safe on the highway.
*The ride was much more smooth and confidence inspiring on the way back when I refrained from redlining the bike and maintained a steady 90-100.That is the sweet spot for me.

Edit- And yeah my butt is fine.No problems in seating comfort.

When I'm on the highway, I prefer riding at around 80kmph. That's about 5500 rpm. This gives the best FE and also doesn't put any strain on the engine. I occasionally take it up to 90-100kmph but since we ride in a group, we ride responsibly and never try to overtake one another. Feels better that way.

But yeah, the wrists hurt a lot after a long ride.

Btw, since this thread is also about experiences, I would like to tell you all that I work in a Bpo. As unfortunate as that may sound, it has its pros as well. I have office from 5:30 am. I get out at 5 and ride about 15kms to work and reach on time. Everyday, I get to ride on an empty road, and I get to hear the engine roar and echo through the alleys which I take on my way to work. (I badly wish there was an exhaust kit for the NS, it would have sounded even more magical.)

Then comes a bypass, where I get to see the sunrise. And when the first rays of the sun hit you, it's like heaven. I feel so free, like there are no chains binding me to anything. Like I can fly.

People who have seen the sun rise while riding their bikes would know how enthralling it feels.

And now just as a small idea of what I see everyday, here's a pic of my baby I took not long ago.

I would have taken better pics but I was getting late for work. :P

Hey guys. My friend who also owns an NS said that he changed his clutch cable and his clutch felt smooth as ever. His clutch too felt very tight from the time he got it. I know why this is. Its probably because the cable has a plastic lining on it and doesnot need to be oiled but the mechanic mustve oiled it any way making the plastic expand.

I also wanted to know wether any one has tried to change their piston to a KTM piston. Because today I saw an NS which sounded so good. I could hear da compression of the engine and couldnt hear any ring noise. I actually put my engine off to hear his engine.

Small Engine EFI Kit is an Electronic Fuel Injection conversion kit for Small Engines with 1 or 2 cylinders.

I had the same experience with throttle... .
Got throttle cable changed 2 days back and now the throttle is much more responsive to inputs than before..

Well I thought the best FE would come before the main jet of your carb comes into play, that is around 4200 rpm or approx 60kmph

I would like to correct myself. Riding at 5500 rpm gives you a good FE and there isn't any strain on the engine. Does that sound better? :P

Yum Yum They even have a turbo for the small engines,if only installing a FI system would have been as easy as their websites mention.

Guys, what would be a good replacement for the front tyre, any suggestion? Does soft compound work well with revz 140/60 rear?

This I would love to try but a straight bar and may be a little shorter!!

                                My own thoughts - Throttle
