There is no option to change the tyres however you can buy other tyres from the market

4. Comment on the quality of the helmet you got with your bike @Harsh Rider
the compulsory helmet which i got with the bike is aerostar compac, i have uploaded its pic for u its a very normal helmet quality is average not very good as it was free with the bike its cost is around 500+ rs .

so i got myself a studds ninja helmet which is of very good quality and it looks pretty safe with good padding , its cost is around 1000+

Right now, I am unable to make that big jump, but surely by next year...
Please try finding out from him whether he has any info...and why arent you taking that jump? any reason?

2. The dealer quoted 98,750 as the on-road price and he was not sure about the accessories included? Can anyone from TN, let me know is it reasonable?

3. Suggest me gears (Matching helmet, Jackets, knee guards and gloves) so that i can rip off my dad's purse at once, it is practically hard to get it in EMI/EDI/EWI from my dad.

4. Comment on the quality of the helmet you got with your bike @Harsh Rider

First of all, congrats! you are getting it in two days? i booked the NS on june 29th and i am yet to get it..

Most of the people on these forum said that the stock tyres are good enough but if you feel like changing them, Pirelli tyres are the best. My dealer quoted Rs.97150 on road..Are you getting any accessories?

• My dealer was not sure about the accessories included. But, he said brake shoes and such small mandatory accessories included in it.

How ever, even another dealer in a near by small town said me 97,150... I'll check with both dealers tomorrow and find out am I being cheated :eww:

• Big or not!

For those who are still confused by 200ns' size!

See d pic....I am 5'9"....,a not too strong SKINNY guy....60kg wt!! I had no problem in handling the 142kg bike.

1. Only the fueltank is wide! Rest of the bike has almost same width as that of p180

2. saddle height is comparatively more...I was still able to rest both my legs on the ground

3. Yellow bike LOOKS smaller than black or red

4. Yellow looks best in flesh

5. Underbelly exhaust MIGHT get scratched if there is a pillion when you come across humps

6. NO VIBES AT ALL!@! Showroom guy revd the bike to 8000rpm when I told that people are complaining about vibes at 6k+ rpm. And that particular bike is NOT a test ride bike!!! feeling sad for the new owner!

7. Price is 94052 on-road at KOLLAM,Kerala--->>>VALUE FOR MONEY

9. Saree guard is useless

10. HORNS are worse that we think...Reminds me of those auto drivers!:P
Its not the speed.....it is all about the skill !!!!

• bajaj usually don't charge for accessories separately, how come brake shoe is an accessory?? they will charge for the high security no. plate, the buzzer of the indicators and teflon coating if you opt for those.
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
#overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

I checked the other vehicles, each of them had run only about 4-5 KM. Then, I realised it was the TD bike. Infact I had taken TD on the same bike the other day. Sorry guys, my phone is out for replacement and couldnt notice down the number properly of the bike. But, the last three digits were XXXXXXXXXXXX995*. They are receiving the new lot tomorrow evening. Will choose the vehicle on tomorrow evening or Tuesday morning.

I would like to sincerely thanks brothers out here for continuously educating and creating awareness about biking because of which I wouldn't have made a wrong choice.

Dude That blue bike was sent to chickbalapur showroom when it arrived. its back here as a test bike. I had been to the dealer on yesterday. I asked him to get me a blue one for TD but he said it wasnt registered yet.... so took the red one..... anyway thanks for the vin number.

as far as i heard its not at all maroon...its kinda deep red... Not the usual pulsar red...its more like the red on the pulsar 220 speedlines edition...which is deeper...same goes for the blue, its the speedlies edition deep metallic blue...

i ve to go min 25 kms from here to bajaj SVC
@Nisanth : I guess if you weren't having any engine oil at all, your bike would have heated up like a Masterchef Oven and might not have even made 250 kms. You might be running low on engine oil. Try to buy the Bajaj DTSi engine oil from outside, drag your bike(don't start it) to the nearest mechanic or bring him home to get the engine oil poured in if you are not able to DIY. And the most important step, before doing it, click the photo of the engine oil maker, show it to the showroom and pop an email to Bajaj showing your dealer's negligence.

The stock tyres are good enough for daily commute mate. You shouldn't be bothered unless you ride like Valentino Rossi. Just in case you are paranoid about the Eurogrips, you can ask @Chintan, @Suro, @Faffy and others or perhaps go back a few pages to see @Suro's review.

I will call him tomorrow or might just pop into the showroom and ask. The last time I went there to get my insurance renewed, he told that August is the tentative time when P200NS will be available. They don't even have the banner to advertise the new beast.

Coming to the second point, I am currently riding 13 months old Pulsar 150, clocked 6650 kms till date. Monetary problems mate. Dad getting retired in another 5-6 months, so everything will come down to me. I might need to pump in around 50Ks for THE P200NS, so holding off a bit. :'(

I got various prices quoted!

Hmmn,
If you are willing to go to RTO directly during registration any User non computer generated number costs 2500 rupees.
Well there are always local brokers who will be more than willing to get you your desired number but would come at double the price ( around 5000 ).

I paid the total amount of 99194 in chennai which is called the TOTAL on road price including Affidavit charges ( Since chennai is not my native so i dont hold a ration card, and also flag day donation ). in the below break up remove helmet and extra fittings and add the above two charges ...

I have already posted the break up details, will post again ....

The break up details is the official break up details in TamilNadu.

The dealer was forcing me to get a Yellow Bike. Initially i wanted an yellow one but am always the shy type who keeps a low profile ( Silent observer kinda guy). So i decided to go for blue. My dealer said i have to wait ten more days to get that..

Experts said enough.. I can`t say it any better than them bro.. I will try putting down what I felt.. please bare with me..!!

I put the key in.. turned it on.. the RPM meter went all the way up.. and settled down beautifully.. was already having goosebumps.. badly was waiting to turn on the engine.. had to wait for around 15 minutes for the showroom guy to pillion (not allowed to drive without them!)..

Finally.. Bumblebee springs into life.. true beauty.. I say.. the sound.. the very feeling of sitting on it.. idling somewhere between 1 and 1.5 k RPM.. click.. first gear on.. it moved smooth.. like a hot knife on butter.. smooth.. went smooth for a while.. then.. tried a little logging.. switched to 5th gear on 2k RPM.. then opened the throttle to 4.5k RPM.. no hitches at all.. it over took a crazy auto and silly Scooty aunty happily.. and willing to go more on RPM.. I wasn`t..!!

The suspension felt good with a pillion.. didn`t try riding it alone.. they didn`t allow me to.. so no idea about riding solo.. Vibes.. I didn`t feel any.. maybe I didn`t cross 6k RPM.. so sorry..!!

Mature.. Powerful.. Rev happy.. rider happy.. the most beautiful moments of my life(apart from the time I saw my girl for the first time .. the only difference being that that one doesn`t love me.. Bumblebee does) these 15 minutes.. although felt like a time wrap for me..!!

The overall feel felt perfect for me.. worth to be made my first bike.. Hnadling was truly wow.. felt like a FZ.. a lot more lighter.. turning radius is very Pulsar like.. no complaints from me.. Pulsars are made to be so..!!

Hope it helped you.. and sorry for making it so long..!!

I don`t have any pictures.. didn`t take any one along.. I wasn`t sure if TD was on or not.. didn`t want an irritated friend on a saturday..!!
