Swadeshi Oil company, opposite Tivoli Garden, that is. Though, I am not sure if he stocks chain lube since I go there for Motul engine oil only. In my opinion, there are other alternatives. One can purchase the Lube from Yamaha Lube too. These days, many bikes come with O ring chain. Yamaha, Bajaj PBK, TVS & RE has chain Lube & degreaser too. I am using OKS Lube & De-greaser.

Hi Guys,

I am following this thread from quiet a long time and see that there is lot of enthusiasm among the people about the "new Devil" in town

.

I booked my NS on 7th July and next week did the full payment for it at Khivraj bajaj, kasturba road. got the call from from them this weekend and they confirmed that this week they will start the delivery.

A wild guess if its not sorted out yet. You happened to have changed the engine oil without getting oil filter changed. May be in these two events, some oil must have flown out and was then burning due to temperature building on the exhaust or the black metal piece which is bolted must be carrying some oil from previous change(accidental spill). May be that's why it was fuming up.

I went for the check up today. they also said the same as they could not find any leakage over my exhaust pipe. They cleaned the bike (accidental spill of the oil) and said, please visit us if it happens again. Lets see.

Hello Guys,

I am also going to be a part of 200 NS team. Getting delivery of my Pulsar 200 NS (Yellow) on wednesday. It's my first bike. So Need your help - How can I check whether bike is New or used for TD? Which Parts I have to check before taking delivery? Please reply.... please...

I have only one day in my hands....

I had made the complete payment on Friday itself and was promised my bimblebee's delivery today from Kalyani Bajaj Mekhri Circle. But was informed that the first 3 people(whihc includes me too) will be handed over the bike keys on wednesday in some kind of ceremony.

I would like to add a horn by keeping a extra battery inside my bike, can anyone confirm that there is enough space in it?

Deliveries @ Khivraj Motors, Bangalore is scheduled to Wednesday (25th July 2012)..
I saw the bike allocated to me checked it for any irregularity.
The bike was full of dust... hence could not check for scratches.
All the parts were in good condition.

The tyre hugger was shaking (ever so little) when compared to other NS.

Apparently tomorrow the bike will be sent for registration and day after it would be delivered.

Hope there is no delay....

Note: There were two red NS standing at the showroom which had considerable amount of damage in them... Which happened while transporting the bikes...

Has anyone in Bangalore already received the bike in Bangalore.

That's a way to go. Sometimes things are very simple but we get paranoid. It happens, we are HUMANS

Anyways, if you have got tiny or thin fingers, try to touch that area and try to feel if there is any oil or not. That might be the reason. Also, the exhaust cannot give away fumes like what we saw in the video unless of course the engine oil is burning too.

NOTE : Please wash your hand properly after you touch the oil. Its not good for your skin.

I have reported the issue of paint peel off frm the head of the exhaust pipe earlier also. Here are some images of the same.

Its due to the touch of black paint that you see black area.

But, since the touch was not done on the left side, you can see that its the brown patch coming up. Earlier it was very less, but the area has increased now.

Guys, i have shown them this issue right on the first service day. On that day, i was not aware of what should be done for the same, so i allowed them for the touch up with black paint. But i posted the same, Chintan said that why you allowed them to do so. Its under waranty and you should get it replaced. But, i find these guys very reluctant. Till date they are not serious about it, i showed them today also and they again asked me to get a touch of paint. But i refused today. Is this under waranty? Will it be replaced or it will remain like this only.

check the odometer,check for any scratches on silencer,mudguard, panels.check the vin no,tax invoice,horn.indicators ,headlamp,handlebar play.

And heard that opting for a louder horn using a wired mod will void my warranty. Is it so?
