I found this review very good. They compared three bikes from different leagues, this can surely help buyers in getting the right choice. I don't understand which part of the review is saying NS is bad. They said NS has great handling, brilliant suspension, responsive braking and so on.Originally posted by Rahulbarik View PostThere is a review up on motoroids.com about the bike... It does cofuse me about whats true... Guys please go through the review once... Is the ns really that bad as he is saying?
Above are the only lines i have found in this review which says something negative about NS. It may be the case with the particular bike reviewer was riding.I don't understand what is "bullcrap " in this review ???
I am loving my NS

Ride the P200NS to understand (Properly.. and not just a 100m-200m test ride)Originally posted by Newrider88 View PostAbove are the only lines i have found in this review which says something negative about NS. FYI- This forum is being maintained by Payeng himselfOriginally posted by Enthusiastic View PostThis review of P200NS I found to be the best review of them all. P200NS review
and guys, please don't get disheartened by the motoroid review.
1stly the main(and only) -ve that have been disscussed there is about the vibes that bike generate at 80+speeds. This has been openly challenged by @payeng, and i'm sure our senior guys who have test ridden this bike for a long time wont support this this issue as well.
2ndly, this review was not a individual bike review, but more of a comparo between three bike. The other two bike being a more premium bike(especially CBR250R by a huge margin), they are obviously supposed to be better bikes than NS.
They themselves has accepted that what NS is offering at the price range, is far better than its peers.
Now, this has really put me off.Originally posted by Krish1417 View PostI wonder why Kolkata outlets haven't got display bike. Here, in Bhubaneswar the owner of a Bajaj showroom has got an NS by registering in his friend's name, all the way from Nasik just for display :O
No offence to Orissa guys, But I having been stayed in Orissa, can vouch that Bajaj will get more sales margin of NS in Kolkata than BBSR.
I really cant understand the release strategy of Bajaj, and its is really making me frustrated with each day.
I swear, if 200 NS had'nt got such Good reviews all over, Bajaj surely would have lost a potential customer.
I seriously wud like to know what the bajaj top management thiniking?????

I surely agree to your point here.Originally posted by antz.bin View PostEdit: And about the launch being the worst launch ever, there are worse ways of launching a bike. That is when you launch a bike pan India but even basic and essential spares like oil filter are not available when the bikes come for 1st service. A particular competitor happened to launch a 25 bhp bike in India about a year back in this 'worse' manner. These basic spares weren't available for over 2 months.
However, it is But-Obvious that supply of essential spares to kolkata will be more easy; cost effective to bajaj than supplying parts to Orissa.
P.S - Am I being biased for being a kolkatan???
Of course I am. If i am facing the disadvantages of staying in a metro (water-logged streets, bumper to bumper traffic, cancerous pollution level); I surely demand the advantages of staying in the same.sigpicRelationships change, evolve, and it goes deep.

Haha you didn't read my reply to him. Ofcourse I know its maintained by Payeng sir. It was to surprisingly appreciate him for his review (not being sarcarstic).Originally posted by Shibadip View PostFYI- This forum is being maintained by Payeng himself
He mentioned that a particular dealer kept a bike in a particular showroom which he bought and brought from Naisk to 'pre-attract' the customers. Its not formally released there.Originally posted by Shibadip View PostNow, this has really put me off.

yeah man i know its a member review but actually thd main thing which suprised me is he said vibration above 80kph is more than duke and the main part NON EXISTING TORQUE anywhere in the range... I dont expect torque like a 220 but what is expect is atleast more than the 180... You have tested the bike and can you say where is the sweet spot in the rev range... I mean say while having a flat out acceleration, at or after what rpm does the bike give than sudden blast of torque and power lile i found the duke to turn into to rocket after 6.5k rpm...Originally posted by payeng View PostThat reviewer says that the P200NS remains smooth only till 80 kmph..!! And also that the 200 Duke is smoother at 120 Kmph... well that is news to me as I found the 200NS to be very smooth at 120 Kmph..!!
Any P200NS owners taken their bike at over 100 Kmph..?? Is there any loss in the smoothness at speeds above 100 Kmph..??

I don't know the reviewer. But have had the opportunity to ride with a P200NS in a traffic free road and the 200NS felt at ease keeping up with the duke. So I don't think it accelerates poorly or that it has no torque. Only thing I guess is you dn't exactly feel the rush like in case of the duke.Originally posted by Rahulbarik View Postyeah man i know its a member review but actually thd main thing which suprised me is he said vibration above 80kph is more than duke and the main part NON EXISTING TORQUE anywhere in the range... @ other owners : please try this , start engine and rev the bike ( bike parked on side stand) and with one hand hold the rear foot pegs and see if u can feel any vinrations .... i am getting loadz of vibrations at rear foot pegs when sitting as a pillion
@annydhanya : I have opted for centre stand and bike cover (BLUE COLOR plastic one as it is waterproof)Originally posted by evilhunt View Postplease ask when this bike will launch in assam...
@DDsouza : Requirement of Centre Stand depends parking space in your area. I opted for centre stand as there are many kids in my compound and a small push from them and bike can fall if its on side stand. So precaution is better than cureOriginally posted by annydhanya View Post@All NS Owners and Mods: Please suggest the various accessories that you think is necessary to purchase...
I have opted for water proof bike cover.
@faffy : There are many things in life you need to be happy for. Everyone has got problems bro. Don't take your bike problem so seriously as BAJAJ will surely take care of that.Originally posted by DDsouza View PostGuys, I am getting my bike on 19th, could MG sir or Chintan or any NS owner tell me what to look for or what are the need accessory ?

Enquired from Vinayak Bajaj Begumpet and found that there are already 15 bookings ready for them but awaiting for the date....Could any one help us on it....
@shahbaz63 : onroad price in mumbai is 98109/- without accessories. Even accessories that you mentioned wont cost more than 2kOriginally posted by Shibadip View PostWhat about down east @ kolkata??? Guess it is Neither getting importance or preference like other metro cities!!!
@chintan, bro what about your call to Bajaj??
Buddy, another thing that i would like to request.
Can you please find out whether the Vechile Identification Number is there in 200NS, and if So where. I've already mailed Bajaj for their VIN decoding pattern, but still to receive a reply. If you know the decoding pattern, then can you explain it? I would definitely have to check the manufacturing month of the bike, before buying it from the dealer.
@DDsouza : Even i paid full amount without test riding the bike and i am very satisfied. I am also sure that you too will be happy and not disappointed. Yes the bike will be very comfortable to you.Originally posted by shahbaz63 View Post1lakh 5thousands in Mumbai (On Road Price Red/Black Color)..

Coz duke owners are complaing of timing chain and tappet noise and ktm guys are saying its normal.... Any inputs?
@udaysagar : Will ask for you too.Originally posted by SiddheshD View PostHi All,
I have already posted the pics of my bumblebee. I was totally amazed when i had first read the zigwheel review of this bike. They had given it 9.5 stars. That is a lot of stars and I wondered whether zigwheels was biased. But later i saw the same type of comments from many reviewers (including an awesome review from xbhp) and was convinced that these reviews were quite genuine.
I wanted a bike that looks very good and has a good ride quality. Primary purpose was commute to office which is 15Km one way. Occasionally i would take my family (5year old daughter and wife) for a short fun ride.
I had shortlisted 3 bikes. Honda CBR 150r, Duke and P200NS.
My heart is still with Honda CBR 150r. Loved the looks and ride quality but it did not pull well with a pillion in city traffic. Also felt that it is Honda's arrogance to price it higher even while offering cheaper dashboard.
I absolutely loved Duke for its looks and the fun part in its ride. It is a hooligan to the core. But i had to drop it because of the small pillion seat and also because it felt small. My hands were angled like a engineering drafter while riding on it and i didn't like it.
P200NS felt just right for me. It pulls very well. I love the stares that i get whenever I am on it. It looks premium from whichever angle you look at it. Has a long front seat for me and my daughter and a big enough pillion seat. It corners very well and I always feel like it wants me to do more with it whenever i took test ride. It is a biggish bike. I am 6 foot and the seat height is just perfect for me.
Disadvantages: 1. Bike does not turn at short angle. It might be a little uncomfortable manoeuvring it out of a tight parking space. 2. The engine got heated very quickly when i was stuck in 1st and 2nd gear in very slow moving traffic for a long time. It eased out when i picked up speed.
Thanks for listening to my story. Happy riding.

. It was a damn good review and not to mention very well written in plain language unlike as we see bringing words from the Mars have become the new trend of writers.
