Sorry for the late reply. Bro go through the youtube link to see this exhaust note...actually its not bit sound clear but u could get. I have tried to show the proper connection to bend pipe from the lower side.. and ignore the akrapovic decals on it [emoji12] [emoji6]

      Any specific name?
And which air filter is being installed now?
It is a entry level Tech hardy exhaust. Not the air filter i was talking about. Here filter means db killer which helps to lower the sound note and doesn't affect the mileage(for my case though).

No it is ready made available in market. Actually i wanted a stainless steel made but was not readily available so jumped to simple one.

                Tyres changed:-
                Front:- MRF ZAPPER FQ
                Rear:- MRF Revz-S
Thanks for advising the Michelins they were available here in Ahmedabad but they were of very old stock so they were rolled out so,finally got MRFs and they have improved the stability, can't say much as they are only 37 kms old.

Hmmmmm.. however I am guessing that the svc center guys will not replace the console under warranty for me since the console is still working perfectly barring the errant vibration of the needle. Any idea how much would that cost if I decide to go on with it since its not a big deal and not something which I could not live with.
Gaurav, get the console changed. I got mine done under warranty(issue - RPM needle vibes). SVC Guys will change it for free
from - Krishna bajaj sec 14.
                  ride or die

Ohk.I thought the eratic behaviour where the rpm needle sometimes shoots up to 2.5k rpm and goes back to 1.5 again.
                        Thanks

In a certain revband (in my case from 4500 - 5500) the needle vibrates like the needle of a seismographs when recording small scale earthquakes. However below and above that the needle is stable. This range also varies from gear to gear. Apparently there is a range in every gear where the engine vibes are being passed onto the console or something.

                          Guys,

I am planning to do a small modification on my NS however not very sure as to how it would turn out. I want to get ride of this headlight and have it replaced with either an aftermarket round headlamp or a 4inch twin headlamp. I have not yet decided if I wanna go in for 4inches or 5 since I am yet to take the measurements of the forks where the clamps would go.

Have any of you guys ever tried out something like this on the NS or have seen any NS which has been done up with this mod. Looked all over the internet and could not find any. My guess is it would look something remotely like the Triumph bike which Tom rode in MI2.

Wanted your suggestions as to how do you envisage this to look.
