Why are you going for 120 width? Taking risk of life...
If u want good grip, good cornering go for mrfs revz z 140 mm or revz c 150mm

      thanks Viki,

I am currently having 140/70 ceat xoom XL. issue is that with 140 section tyre, the tyre profile is more round at the center and so less road grip. Had a small skid last on wet road. Not sure if its just with this particular tyre.

ceat vertigo, though 120 is kind of squarish and seems to have more road contact.

        Guys I need your help!

Bike is done 14.5K Kms oil changed to motul 5100 about 1000 kms before. riding conditions 60 highway 40 mild traffic. riding style sane, max speed in daily rides 80 (not sudden busts but progressive and steady) tyres(r - 32, f-29) and everything stock, changed the chain and sprocket set recently, checked the air filter and sparkplugs. I am getting a milege of 35 KMs only. I know it has to be a carb runing issue. I stay in chandapura, a place near electronic city. can any one of you please suggest me a good mechanic near by?
Any mech near electronic city or JP nagar (close to KMG techpark) is fine. I have a long ride scheduled and I need to fix this asap.

carbon deposits on valves, piston , and maybe silencer is clogged up. Cat converter is useless now.

Use 28-30 psi in your 140 and you should be fine. May lose 1-2 km/l on efficiency though. Squarish tyres are bad for cornering hard.

Max fuel efficiency comes btw 3.5 - 4.5K rpms for our machine. Try to ride in that range if you want fuel efficiency. Also, if your bike starts easily without choke, in the coldest mornings, mixture is rich. Tuning is required.

hi krixna, tried reducing pressure, but on reduced pressure the side walls seems to be deforming easily and its affecting balance..

If you wish to change the tyres, try fz 140 tyres. They are radials and give decent grip on both straights and cornering. Also, is your braking technique good? Coz ns is tail happy and requires little different breaking techniques..

Hi folks.. .i am looking for a set of Aux riding lights, not fog lights, to add onto my NS.. Any ideas ? I have read that HIDs are more powerful but more power hungry at the same time so I think LEDs are the more efficient option. Three questions if i may -

                            1. Sorry for sounding like a noob however what is the max wattage which can be used without affecting the battery ?
                            2. Would any such additions void the warranty of the battery etc ?
                            3. Could some one please point me to a tried and tested decently illuminating pair of lights ? have been doing my share of research however not able to finalize which is why i came here

                            Appreciate your help folks

I walk away to ride another day

                              Need help!
Bike has done 10500kms. Had come set changed at 9500km. But now bike wobbles whenever I hit a small pothole or rumbler strips on road and the handle becomes stiff. Had shown it to svc they adjusted the cone. It was fine for some days but bike started to wobble again. Its scary bike just feels like oscillating from left to right for some time and then after some time becomes normal. This will be third time I will visit svc for same issue. Due to this issue m afraid to have long rides on my bike. Sorry for such a long post..

hi John, is that FZ tyre revz s? or some thing else.

Also heard somewhere 140 section tyre on 200ns will make tyre profile more round, so less area of contact( not sure how much is true, but my ceat xoom 140/70 tyre do seems more round at center). so looking for 130 section.
