Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Both phillips and osram are good but osram have good reviews. My brother is using phillips xtreme night vision in his thunderbird and gives proper throw.Originally posted by Wolverine90 View Post

I too had the same thought if it was a HID, because neither the manual nor the box mentioned it. All it says is "LED Projector Lens". It was only my thought (maybe stupid thoughtOriginally posted by krixna View PostSame what I was thinking. So I guess he has a projector with leds behind it. He was saying projector and hid
Edit: I've ordered a 35W Hid online, waiting for delivery...maybe Sat or Monday

), like how can LEDs produce such brightness and a pointed beam?. The shop guy said it's latest and takes very less power but very bright (but he called it as HID
, and said LED is for that angel\devil Eye only
), but on the other side I think HIDs take up usually more power. Also I just thought if this could be Bi-Xenon HID, but now that it appears this isn't HID after all. Maybe this couldbe a powerful LED + Lens+projector setup. The light setup itself, I couldn't differentiate between mine and a HID (i have seen the HID bulbs package before). Maybe I was fooled by my ignorance
and maybe not, because it didn't disappoint in lighting and goes easy on battery.

Yes! You can leave the headlights on for a couple of hours (with engine off, as per your setup) and still get the starter to work. But check whether the 18W is really working or not. In led setup, low beam is from the lower powered led, high beam is usually all the leds working together. Check whether it works that wayOriginally posted by jbm_guy View PostI too had the same thought if it was a HID, because neither the manual nor the box mentioned it. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I hope so, the guy said replacing projector setup with the bulb is a direct fit, however he said replacing the projector with another projector is a pain...Originally posted by Wolverine90 View PostHi Guys,
I have the very same query. 3 months back I have fitted a projector light setup (not HID
) from a local workshop in Mysore. Yesterday, the bulb stopped working. I am thinking of upgrading the bulb to 100/90 since I go for frequent night riding. My doubts are:
1. Does a 100/90 w bulb a direct fit for the projector set up that I am currently having?
2. Which bulb has better illumination and life in 100/90 segment? I have read from this forum that Philips Xtreme Vision and Osram Nightbreaker are good. My budget is up to 1.5K.
Please shed some light on this
Thanks in Advance

yes Bro. The least is that I don't have to worry about draining battery. 18W is working, I can see the change in brightness and range but that doesn't account for a 10W increaseOriginally posted by krixna View PostYes! You are better off with AS200 unless Bajaj starts a new 200NS batch. Any day, a newer revision product is always better.Originally posted by nakedvolves View PostI have contact Bajaj Customers Care service they told that they had temporary stopped the production of P200ns .And the bad news is they don't know when it is going to started[emoji45]

Anyone in Bangalore who have customised their headlamps to projector headlamps? Please share details as to where it was done and how much it cost. If its not an issue then please attach some photos too. Cheers.

Whatever, there are two types of projectors HID and LED. Just make sure you choose what you want. LEDs are more power efficient, whereas I hope HIDs are a bit more powerful and power hungry.Originally posted by varO_On View PostAnyone in Bangalore who have customised their headlamps to projector headlamps? Thanks for the video, it solved many queries.Originally posted by krixna View PostUnder 3k rpm, alternator output is less than 100W, so it will draw some current from the battery under 3k rpm. Above that, alternator supplies both headlamp and charges battery too. Check this out

By the term LED, they mention about the Angle eye or the devil eye (which is LED), but for the lamp housing, it will be HID with projector lenses.Originally posted by nakedvolves View PostWhatever, there are two types of projectors HID and LED.
