Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
You are right, even when I switched to Motul 5100 after my ODO touched 5000 kms, I felt no difference in smoothness, but then I switched to Motul 7100 at 10000 kms then it started to show the refinement after about 150 kilometers of usage. Now my steed has crossed 26K or 27K mark on the ODO (got the meter replaced once, so don't really know the actual count) and I have never thought about switching to any other brand.Originally posted by jbm_guy View PostVrooming Soul..!!

This is super hot. And the job is clean. If its not too much to ask for, could you please upload a closer picture of the set up especially where the clamps are placed. I can try and get it done in Trivandrum.Originally posted by shrey1992 View PostDuke 200s handle guards can be easily installed on the NS. I have them installed on mine.
If you live in Delhi, I can help you out in getting them installed.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hmm... Seems confused a bit with these oils. Many said Motul 5100 gave a smoother engine set up while, Motul 7100 gave a bit harsh but crunchy acceleration and a better high rpm rides. But somehow 5100 didn't surprise me when I was ~4000+ Kms in odo (when I did my 2nd service).Originally posted by shrey1992 View PostYou are right, even when I switched to Motul 5100 after my ODO touched 5000 kms, I felt no difference in smoothness, but then I switched to Motul 7100 at 10000 kms then it started to show the refinement after about 150 kilometers of usage. My third service is approaching shortly less than a month, but however my total Kms is around 7000+ only till date. Should I try Motul 7100 now?, or go back Bajaj, wait for 3000 Kms and then try Motul 7100?. By the way, I still have one full bottle of Motul 5100 in my storage

I had it confirmed with PowerDrift. One of the other noticeable (but not visible) upgrade for RS from AS or NS is Alternator. Bajaj has informed them that RS has a new Alternator (Stator and rotar setup with rectifier) than AS/NS especially for projectors, no info about power ratings though. I'm not sure it that's just a rectifier modification or the whole stator+rotar windings and assembly.Originally posted by xplod566 View PostYes your calculation is right.but what I fail to understand is how come in RS both the lights are enabled then without draining that much battery ?
So this should give the battery a quick charge even at lower RPMs. Also you must note that the RS uses LEDs for other lamps such as pilot, tail, (even for other console lights, not backlight as they are LEDs in NS too), etc. Hence that way it saves more power compared to AS or NS. So that makes some sense here.
So now for AS or NS, one can switch to a 100W+ light source without a hiccup, but before proceeding, it's advisable to change all the lights to LEDs, use single horn, try not to turn on headlights at idle, because in such cases, the discharging rate would be more than charging rate.

Or why not change the rectifier and alternator to that of rs and eliminate the possibility of battery discharge and have more power at tap to expend ...Originally posted by jbm_guy View Post.

Ya I think I wil pass on for now to enable both the lights.thanks for the info bro.
However I did change the oil from Bajaj to 7100 as I have completed almost 7700kms.so you also seem to cover the same distance almost.
All I can say the engine oil is just SWEET!
Will give you a review of it soon.give me couple of hours [emoji51]

Thanks for the input
best way is to, simply leave it as it is. or take the head assembly out in your hand and shake the the headlight housing to get bulb out.
