I had one today after a long time. & been having those khat khat gear shifts,
My clutch setting is so bad, should I adjust the Clutch myself ? I'm too lazy to try. Adjust from lever side or engine side ? which is better.
Adjust on both sides according to your needs.. adjusting from engine side is tricky..
I guess youll have to take trial and error method bro if you want the clutch to upto your need.. or simply ask svc to adjust clutch in front of you :-)
    I hope This might help - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUOig74msKg&sns=sms :-)

Changes observed: better throttle response and idle stability, much lesser oil smell, silent engine (since it wasnt shorting), very slight deeper engine note and most importantly due to efficient combustion am now able to touch 145 on a road i used to do 135 in. Fuel efficiency and oil deposits if any, yet to be checked.

Guys the oil filter side spark plug cover has some oil+dirt on it, note that there isn't oil that you can say oil, it's like black dirt has little bit wetness in it, while the right hand side is sparkly clean from this wet black dirt, and the wet black dirt is like on surface of oil filter side engine black on about 40% of surface, also, a bringing smell comes from engine depending upon harshness of riding style. is that a problem. .? I m getting around 30kmpl, had a fall 3 weeks ago, recently changed oil to 3100 gold, and don't have any problem with power, handling etc of bike,

Its the most suitable one available which is ready to fit and better than the older ones. Considering rainy days ahead, a good bet to get it.
I had gone to Sai Service Borivali to place an order for the front fender sticker set for my bike, thought I'd inquire about the mudguard from the new NS.
They actually refer to it as the chain guard, as it is integrated with the mudguard. But they do not have it in stock.
Moreover, they cannot even place an order for it as they have not received the new parts list from Bajaj. They had the older version in stock.

I've left my contact details asking them to call me if they know more about the new guard.

Brother, hou might be running a little too rich,
Also check spark plug gap, and if the spark plugs are interchangeable switch them! Thid will give an idea if its a plug issue, and ya clutch needs adjustment, if bike was burning oil you would see lesser oil levels on drainage and all the plugs will be dark, you are just running rich.
That smell can also be burning clutch plates, adjust asap.

                divyansh....

Those who find oil on or around spark plugs, please post pics. I'd be able to analyse if it's exactly like my case or something different. Can be anything y'know.

Try to stay away from such gimmicks anuj. There are a lot of such products around with no real world effects and are just plain rubbish.

Yeah, it's leaking. But not a major one. No need to open engine to change gaskets. Just change the oil type.
