Hi friends. There's a lot of talk about the rather stiff suspension of NS. Well, since this a performance bike, the suspension was meant to stiff in the first place. As mentioned in some of the posts, soft suspensions improve the ride quality/comfort by damping the shocks. High speed with a soft suspension will definitely send you flying even with the smallest bump on the road.
But then Bajaj could have given a softer setting so that it can be adjusted for bad or bumpy roads. Nobody would want to do high speeds on bad roads.

Now, I have an issue: the petrol level in the tank decreases whenever I park my bike and return after sometime. I usually don't turn the petrol switch to off position. Tried turning it to off position also but there is still a decrease. What could be the reason for this? :what:
Your bike is a part of you....

How can you conclude that petrol is decreasing?? I am asking this because I am facing a very low mileage around 25-29 kmpl.

hey, what will be the cost of Clutch bell, head cover gasket, drain bolt?

@ xplod566 was facing the same issue. You could find his posts a few pages earlier in this forum. Or... You could pm xplod and he would be more than to assist you on this.

There is a long discussion about this issue. Please check my 1 month old posts.you will find all the possible fixes available and hope this issue is fixed.
Just to give you a glimpse of this the problem is that certain (some 200ml) of fuel gets evaporated from the bike.me, RohIIT and Divya Sharan tried for a fix.the best way to find it out is once you hit reserve put fuel for around 1.6 litres(100 rs INR) drive the bike .if you drive continuously you should be able to drive for atleast 55-57 kms.if you park it for 9-10 hours somewhere then it goes till 46-48 kms.that's how you can segregate the problem.my problem after replacing with the new carb wasn't fixed though.

Bro .. Leaking oil is a problem.. He meant that its not difficult to resolve.. The solution to this is not a big problem.

I am currently using 2014 model Bajaj Pulsar 200NS red and black dual tone.
For 2 years, I have been using this bike for going to my college. That is, daily riding a total of 40-45 kms of very bad, bumpy road conditions with almost full of rough patches and potholes.
Now I am suffering from a severe lower back pain due to bone disc dislocation and am now undergoing treatment.
I just wanted to know whether any of you are suffering from Backpain problems like me because of using this bike. I had tuned the rear monoshock suspension many times and is now in the softest position. Still it's action is very hard and the ride is very bumpy. Even riding over small potholes/rough patches is very jerky.
Is this common in all 200NS bikes?

I get shoulder pains but that's due to prolonged stretching of your arms. As for as back pain, I never speed beyond 15-20 kph on bad or roads with gravel..... I ALWAYS DO THAT..... Whenever I find the road above has some pits or undulations, I seriously brake in and slow down.....

Been over 15 months and I dont feel it...Follow this and you wont have any trouble.... TRUST ME

Regarding suspension setup, the difference is VERY minimal as GauravD mentioned. Either get a comfortable bike or switch to a car. Health is wealth.

Hi Guys,

I have one silly doubt, please live with the same

I am planning to upgrade my Tyres of my NS to the following:

Rear: 140/70R 17
Front:
110/70R 17

Now I would like to know how it is practicable, for that you guys have to clarify my doubts. My doubts are:

1) Any impact on the acceleration part?
2) Stability?
3) Height of the byke ( Dont LOL ed if this is a stupid doubt)

BTW i dont care about "kitna deta hai" part, so I am awaitng for the reply from you friends.

The fuel tank cover costs 1000 bucks approx. The whole cover. I dont know the price of the portion you have highlighted. Mine has quite a few scratches and the 'pulsar' tag is comming off. Contacted the ASS and enquired about the cover. Turns out its not in stock. So placed an order for my blue-black pulsar.
