Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Exactly. Mine is 10k and almost 80% useful rubber remaining!Originally posted by kany1991 View Post13k and 20% tyre life left that too of euro slip something is fishy [emoji52]
Euro slips are made of hard compound and it can easily last for 30k

Great tyre for drifting and wet burnouts. Bad tyre for rest of the things including 10kmph riding.Originally posted by vvk1999 View Post

Looks like burnout.best would be to find the details from SVC.Originally posted by kany1991 View Postlooks like bike completed around 25k KMS if he's not doing stunts specially "burnouts"
I also felt it's burnout and the tyre thread looks so.even if the bike goes 30K kms don't think it can wear like this

On second thought, maybe 13K is true and the guy was doing burnouts. Reason? Front tyre looks new.Originally posted by xplod566 View PostLooks like burnout.best would be to find the details from SVC.

+1 bro.same thought was running through my mind.Originally posted by krixna View PostOn second thought, maybe 13K is true and the guy was doing burnouts. Reason? Front tyre looks new.
Reason is I use a lot(a lot) of rear brake.and i still have the threading to be in good condition
I think 55k is a good deal if everything is in place for the bike

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hey guys,
Got a few issues.
hope someone can help me identity the fault.
1. From past few days have seen that my bike shuts down with a khad sound from right side of engine. Like some weird sound from exhaust or engine.
I am not able to identify the source properly.
Could it be a spark plug issue? Or is it something else.
2. Recently had got console changed under warranty.
The clock was resetting so had gone to SVC, I wasnt able to reproduce the resetting to them so had to come back after they reconnected all the wires.
It stayed the same for a week, but today morning at 5am when the fuel got over and engine went off I changed over to reserve and when I ignited the engine, clock had reset again.
Anyone have had similar problem?
SVC says they have never heard of anything like this and says me to reproduce the issue in front of them for any action to be taken.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
My clock gets slower over a period of time. If i dont take out my bike for a couple of days, then whenever i start it, the clock would have slowed down a couple of hours. A few of my friends had this problem too. Went to the SVC. Came to know that the problem was a loose wire inside the console which connects the clock to the main array. The loose connection apparently slows down the clock and takes it back by a few hours. He took out my console and tightened the plugs inside and behold! The issue disappeared! I know it has nothing to do with the clock getting reset but you can ask them to check for the wiring inside the console and whether its properly done or not. They might not have properly connected the wires while replacing your console. It is quite a common problem in the NS, so i guess the SVC guys are just being ignorant noobs. You know how they are:banghead:. Or else, you can take out the headlight assembly by yourself and check the connections. Its fairly simple to do. Hope it helps. Good luckOriginally posted by nikzcool View Post2. Recently had got console changed under warranty.

No svc record except free services. Even the ASC dont keep record for paid service here.Originally posted by xplod566 View PostLooks like burnout.best would be to find the details from SVC.

Personally i have seen some ns/as having same condition tires at just 10k kmOriginally posted by krixna View PostOn second thought, maybe 13K is true and the guy was doing burnouts. Reason? Front tyre looks new.
This seems true mostly.Originally posted by powerShift View Postthere are srill few ppl who don't use front brake at all. engine braking neither. so it may be not burnout. if it is, we can get it from clutch response and piston sound.

Haha! The time problem is there from day one! My console is programmed it seems, to go 15 minutes slow per month :banghead: Well, I'm used to it now, I reset it by the first of every month, and I know by 10th I'm 5 mins, by 20th I'm 10 mins and by 30th I'm 15 mins behind timeOriginally posted by sharadh View PostMy clock gets slower over a period of time. Hahaha. I can understand. India runs on 'jugaad'. I was doing the same thing that you are doing right now. I thought i had a faulty clock or something like that. But when i came to know its a common issue, i got it repaired. Now no more sore fingers(the buttons are really stiff!Originally posted by krixna View PostHaha! The time problem is there from day one!
