I'm glad it was rectified and the suggestions were almost the solution. Hehe
      Cheers!

It's surely point towards faulty mechanical system. It can be low compression, clutch slipping etc
Since u changed the clutch assembly(include clutch plates , pressure plates ,springs if bell has any deformations then change it also), it's better to check the compression .
Thanks for your input mate. The trouble for me is explaining the service guys about what my issue is. They look soo clueless and that gives me cold feet to give the bike to them. Last time they kept the bike for 3 full days and gave it back saying nothing happened. He said the carb was cleaned and wiring was checked. Charged me 300.

Recently during monsoon water sweeped into my fuel tank, so firstly I cleaned the water in the tank and also the carburetor by opening it by a local mechanic ,but after that my bike started stalling and giving hiccup problems, as if there was no fuel in the tank. So yesterday I put my. Bike in bajaj SVC. They did carburetor cleaning, decarbonization. I also asked them to check the spark plugs which they said are fine and no need to replace. But today when I got my bike after riding I experienced that acceleration is not linear at some point between 4-5 rpm . means at some point I could feel the lag. What could be the problem as I have already cleaned my carburetor , air filter and checked my spark can you put some info ..pls

Water in the fuel filter can be a problem. Also, there is a filter in the tank, fitted to the fuel valve. Was that removed and cleaned?

Is that the fuel filter u talking about which is present in the tank ( the long plastic pipe thing ) , that I had removed when I showed to the local mechanic. I don't know if the bajaj ppl have removed and cleaned it. Also I have notice the lag is prominent between 4-5 rpm ( like there is a lack of power in bike) and then suddenly there little jerk after that . told the SVC guy but he said the bike is OK . But for me it is not smooth and steady that it used to be earlier before water sweepage ..what could be the issue as the carburetor is cleaned also the spark plug is checked ( which SVC guy told not necessary to replace as it fine )
What other part can lead to this.... Does carb tuning causes such prob? ( which was also done by SVC guy)

Could be the diaphragm, but this should have been caught by the SVC!!

In the earlier days when the bike was new, I got the gasket ring changed because of oil leakage.

After that I was actually harassed by these service guys as they choked that air pipe and those dumb people weren't able to rectify there own mistake as my bike used to stall after every 10kms or so and then refused to start.

There is a fuel filter between the fuel tap and carb too.

Actually I am also facing a similar kind of problem but In my case there is lag between 3-4k rpm and the bike is best(vibe less) between 4-5k rpm.

I also feel a sudden jerk as soon as the bike crosses 5k rpm mark.
This could be due to air leak from the cracks in the rubber hose which connects the engine and the carb

Hello riders! Hope you're all doing well.

I was wondering if someone could help me choose a better semi synthetic oil for my bike. The RS 200. Since the NS and the RS share the same engine, I'm hoping to get some good info here.

I'm thinking to switch to semi synthetic oil. I couldn't find the Motul 5100 20w50 anywhere so can any of you guys suggest a better or similar oil?

Anything other than the stock Bajaj oil is good. Also, do you guys recommend flushing the entire engine oil out since I'm switching from Mineral to semi synthetic?

If yes, how do I go about doing that?

Thanks in advance and happy riding.
