Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
it is always advised to follow the run in , i know it is hard to do so and there is urge to revv up a new bike. you can revv it a little but do it after engine is properly warmed up and dont revv it too hard for too long as it might overheat and can damage a new engine.Originally posted by UncleDrew View PostHey guys. So I just got my brand new Pulsar 200 NS this past Friday and it's been great so far however I'm not sure if it's just me or what but since the very first ride I've been riding slowly as required for the engine to run in properly however it seems that the bike is very very smooth already. I remember on my previous motorcycle(Chinese motorcycle), the engine was very rough at the beginning until about 1,500 km. Since I got the ns, I've never been past 5k rpm's. My friend was telling me that maybe its just a very smooth bike and so on but I'm not sure if I should go a bit higher in rpm's or just keep them below 5k. I would like to know your experiences. I don't mind the bike being so smooth however it feels as if the engine is telling me to go faster by how smooth it feels.
As for now, I'll continue to apply the run in method until 2,500 km.200NS 25K kms / RE500 7k kms / Electra 30k kms / P150 80K Kms(SOLD) / i10 40k Kms (SOLD) / Tata NEXON 2K Kms

Hello everyone, finally i went to my first trip to ambala from ghaziabad and felt for tyre upgrade. Now i am in utter confusion

Any other 140 section tyre
Front

Any other tyre
Please give me correct suggestions.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Exhaust thump (bass) depends upon the Stroke of the bike, ns is a short Stroke machine, which implies it cant give bass y exhaust.Originally posted by deep007 View PostGuys using after market exhaust can cause any kind of problem.and i want to add the extension pipe from the joint below the engine.
Please also recommend exhaust with bass.
E.g. RE 350 & ktm 390 approximately have the same displacement but sounds too different.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hey guys can anyone tell what could be the reason for hiccups between 5k-6k rpm. Its like bike is losing the power when i open the throttle in higher gears.
FYI:- I have replaced the following things
1) Fuel filter and spark plugs. Bike was performing very good after the spark plug change.
2) The insulator pipe which connects the carb and engine head(suspected a vacuum leak.)
Can this problem occur with the water in carb or fuel tank?

Hi guys, previously I had set my clock to the correct time. But gradually it is getting slower and slower and showing wrong timings. Is it a common problem and needs resetting every specific interval or is something haywire in mine?SOMETIMES,
YOU FIND YOURSELF IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE;

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
this is rear monoshock, leaking oil from top. ASS guy told me the leak has to be from bottom of shock where the piggy back canister is to be considered a leak. does he make sense? rear shock provides no resistance and ride quality has gone crappy. already shown twice and no positive response. they just do service and ask me to get it examined every 5k. bike has done 15K.
can this be fixed from outside shop or whole shocker need to be replaced and can be done only at ASS?200NS 25K kms / RE500 7k kms / Electra 30k kms / P150 80K Kms(SOLD) / i10 40k Kms (SOLD) / Tata NEXON 2K Kms
