Re: Regarding Oil change.
But I think, 1.5L pack is of 15w50 grade. Is the 1.5 pack available for 20W50 grade?Originally posted by Ujjwal96 View PostBro, there are 1.5L Motul 7100 bottle available at KTM service centres.
In case if you have bought the 1L bottle try to return it back or get another 1 litre pack, I wouldn't suggest using the one which is already open.
Either way I don't think returning is an option, considering 'SOLD' is 'SOLD' rule of amdavadis
, In this case, I will go for 2 packs and keep the rest. But can you tell me what might be the expected life of storage?

15W50 would be better than 20W50, better start up wear protection.Originally posted by NitSpeed200 View PostDid some offroading today. The trail was 12km long one way.

Re: Regarding Oil change.
Bro, it can be stored for atleast 2 years, don't think too much, just do it. 1.5 litre 7100 is available, it's 20W50, performance is good with Motul, but remember , ur engine will start leaking soon as 7100 kinda slowly eats up the gaskets , I got leak issues after using 7100, ask anyone who used 7100, it's common.Originally posted by Santosh Nair View PostBut I think, 1.5L pack is of 15w50 grade. Re: Regarding Oil change.
Yeah bro you got it right about Amdavadis [emoji6] and there is absolutely no problem in storing the remaining oil. Just make sure you store it at a dry place as it is the monsoon season.Originally posted by Santosh Nair View PostBut I think, 1.5L pack is of 15w50 grade. Is the 1.5 pack available for 20W50 grade?

Re: Regarding Oil change.
Then in that case, Storage won't be a trouble. But I didn't know about the gasket damage done by 7100. After how much time did the leaking issue start? And what is the possible solution? Going for 5100?Originally posted by levintt View PostBro, it can be stored for atleast 2 years, don't think too much, just do it. 1.5 litre 7100 is available, it's 20W50, performance is good with Motul, but remember , ur engine will start leaking soon as 7100 kinda slowly eats up the gaskets , I got leak issues after using 7100, ask anyone who used 7100, it's common.

Re: Regarding Oil change.
I earlier used 7100. And as said, after sometime leaks will happen. But it won't be severe. And regarding the solution, I changed the gasket but still after sometime the leaks again started. In any day I'll recommend Motul over Bajaj oil though.Originally posted by Santosh Nair View PostThen in that case, Storage won't be a trouble. But I didn't know about the gasket damage done by 7100. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Bro, any lube will work as long as you clean the chain regularly. I have used coconut oil on my Wind125, P150 and NS with no compromise on chain life.Originally posted by maninderz View Post
90 grade gear oil working effectively, done 25k plus kms and chaiset is good for another 10k atleast.
