Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
What the....!! Are you trying to do it yourself opening the engine head? Hope you know what you're doing. If you are not sure let the mechanic handle it. You can stand by and watch if you want to learn.Originally posted by Saravanan Murdlock View PostPut The Pedal To The Metal

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Man hats off to you. You are trying to open a four stroke cylinder head just by asking on this forum. Also this is a water cooled engine so more complexity. Take it to a mechanic and he will be able to help. I repeat never, ever open a four stroke bikes head if you have no experience in working with Four stroke engine. While fitting the head back lots of things have to be considered like matching the timing, placing the gaskets and dowels correctly. So do not open the head on your own as from your writing i can deduce that you have never opened a four stroke bike head nor have ever seen working on four stroke bike head.Originally posted by Saravanan Murdlock View Post here the pictures of broken one and healthy one----consecutive posts auto-merged-----picture of RHS plug hole with half broken plug inside----consecutive posts auto-merged-----Now what are all the further nuts to open our cylinder head? Do we have to remove valve timing chain to remove the head? If so could u please tell me how to detach the timing chain. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
In four strokes there is no air screw. It has a Fuel screw. So turning in anti-clockwise makes it rich, i.e, more fuel and less airOriginally posted by denverrodricks View PostU mean your mixture was rich because turning the air screw anticlockwise allows more air and not fuel

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hello everyone, happy to join the club
today I got hold of a pre-worshipped (I prefer this to used!) red 200NS which has done about 9k.. good thing, owner was sensible enough to change the tyres to MRF (the ones that come with R15), bad.. well I hardly rode it couple of kms, so i'll share my experience with you guys regularly from now on.

The COOL ANT's Factor....
Hello xBhp brothers....
I own a Pulsar 200 NS...& I am now upto changing the Coolant of my bike....a friend from Kolkata (also owning a NS)...uses Engine Ice for his bike and has apparently rated it the best coolant ...but as I enquired with the Engine Ice people (via FB messaging),they said, they don't have any dealership, here in Delhi (officially)...Now is it available anywhere in Delhi (especially our good old Karlogbagh ? ) If any of you knows of it,please do lemme know....or if you have any coolant suggestion for the NS...lemme know to that as well......
Thanks in advance...
Happy & safe riding !!
Samrat.

Lol, may be you stop one of the truck walas with an empty back container... and load your motorcycle in it and reach somewhere closer to a puncture shop.. ya.. that could work xD..Originally posted by Anuj_Gupta View PostGuys if God forbid we have a puncture on.highway and no.option of repair for about 50 kms, what we should do. ? Also punctures can be repaired yourself using puncture kits.. look for DIY Pulsar video on youtube for this.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
In case you dont have a puncture kit at hand, you can still run with the tyres for a considerable distance..but very slowly. There is no risk of damage to the rims much [tyres- maybe but only if youre running completely flat]Originally posted by Anuj_Gupta View PostGuys if God forbid we have a puncture on.highway and no.option of repair for about 50 kms, what we should do. ? This is what CEAT says about tubeless tyres: The absence of a tube is what makes these tyres safer. Since the entire assembly is airtight, the loss of pressurized air in case of a puncture is a very slow process. As sudden deflation does not occur in tubeless tyres, there is minimal air loss after the puncture and therefore no loss of control of the vehicle. Also, the tyre can travel a longer distance before repairs are needed, as air will escape slowly, providing the required inflation for a longer time and distance before going completely flat.
So, if possible find a fuel pump and fill a lot of air, since tubeless tyres release air through punctures very slowly, you can get more range like this till you find a puncture shop.
Better yet, buy a puncture kit and take it with you for the long runs.. Can become very useful at times like these..

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hi buddy, it's 2012 model, done 9200km, got it for 69k, not sure if it's fair deal or not, but I thought with changed set of tyres it's a decent bet.Originally posted by broken87 View Postcongrats and welcome to the NS club.

Three and half years of no riding clearly showing on me, managed to stall the bike quite a few times within the small distance I rode the bike, need to get used to this clutch which is unlike any pulsars I have ridden earlier.Let's bring down the monster of corruption to it's knees.. please visit http://ipaidabribe.com/
